A Dead Man's Bride - Cursed One

Capter 10

Mr. Collins (worried): "what happened to you? Why are you crying sweetheart."

Jessica, "dad there was someone in my room."

Mr. Collins, "what? Come with me, show me where."

Jessica and Mr. Collins headed to her room, Mr. Collins entered her room, she waited outside, he checked the room and found no one but as he turned around to head out of the room, he heard some noise coming from behind the curtain. He quickly grabbed the stick he had and headed to see what it was and the moment he pulled the curtain a big rodent ran from beneath his feet. He was terrified at first and then equally amused and relived. He went out to Jessica, "darling it was only a rodent, I have chased it out from your room now. There is nothing to fear now."

Jessica knew it was something else but how could she share such a thing with her father, he would not understand, she quitly went in her room and got into her bed. Her dad made her comfortable, kissed her and then left as she slept.

There was another dream, Jessica saw herself standing in the woods staring at the moon, she was appreciating the beauty of the full moon in midts of the dark sky, lost in her thoughts she got startle when from behind someone touched her shoulder. She turned behind to see who it was, the stranger had returned. "hello Jessica, I told you I would tell you something important, well now is the time."

Jessica, "how do you find me everytime?"

Stranger, "I have been watching over you from the time you were born."

Jessica was preplexed and amazed, "what do you mean? Who are you?"

Stranger, "I was a trader living in Edunsteen, travelling diffrent places and living a life with nothing missing because I had moeny, I had everything else too. I never felt the need of anything, I was living a very satisfied life untill one day I met Katina."

Jessica, "Why are you even telling me all this?"

Stranger, "because I need your help."

Jessica, "I am not in a position to help anyone. You have no clue about what I am going through. My life is compleatly disturbed, infact today a man even tried to rape me."

Stranger, "to tell you the truth if that someone wanted to rape, it would had never been just a try but what happened with you today was temptation, which you managed to withdraw from but the tempter will be back."

Jessica, "I don't get it. The tempter? What is all this?"

Stranger, "It will all become clear, just listen to what I have to say."
