As they returned home that night, James had restless feelings, it made him feel as if something was trying to gain control. He had a very high fever that night and Katina seemed very tired so she went off to sleep. He could not sleep and he left the bedroom and walked out of the house into his lawn to get some fresh air.

As he sat outside thinking about all that had happened with him, he heard someone speaking and the voice seemed to be coming from Katina's room. He quickly rushed in and he was shocked to witness that it was Naamak who was in his bedroom with Katina. What was happening in front of his eyes was a horror that he had not expected at that moment he did nothing but fled straight to the chaple to seek help from the monk. When he reached the place, he knocked at the back door of the chaple where the monk lived, it took sometime for the monk to get up and open the door and when he saw James in that condition he quickly took him in and asked him what was wrong. James told him everything, the monk was shocked to listen to his encounter and asked him to immedietly take him to his house.

It was early morning when they reached and the very first thing that James did was woke Katina up and asked her where Naamak was. She reacted surprised and said she knew nothing about what he was speaking but he told her everything that he had witnessed. After that the monk took over, he askes Katina sevral times, who she was and to reveal her true identity but Katina kept begging and asked James to help him. She said that the monk was torturing her and that she would die but James held his patience for he knew there was something very abnormal about her.

After sometime the monk told James that the only way possible to save Katina and his soul was through an exorcism. James was shocked to hear that and he asked the monk what was to be done, as they were speaking, James felt as if someone was stading right behind him and the moment he turned to see, it was Katina but then she did not look like herself. She pushed James off and held the monk' throath and pushed him agaist the wall and spoke in a very diffrent voice, "you can do nothing to save his soul, you are not perfect and I know everything that you have ever done." She laughed and told the monk about an incident that had happened in the past where he was unable to save his family from the fire that had broke into their house. It was a long old guilt that keept troubling the old monk because in that fire he had lost his family. He always blamed himself for that loss because he had left home after an argument with his mother and while leaving he had forgotten to put the stove off which had resulted into a fire that destroyed everyone except him. It had taken him a very long time to recover from this guilt and pain and the moment Katina spoke this that very old guilt that was existing in his heart took over. She put him down and left the house.

Then James helped the monk get up and saw him in tears, he asked him what was wrong with Katina but the monk had no words to speak, he left him in silence.
