It was a very old wooden structure, almost falling apart but something that would keep them warm and help them survive. Mr. Jones and Jessica took the lead and managed opening the door to get inside. With the help of the torch that Mr. Jones had all they could notice was that the house was full of dust and webs. Jessica noticed the fire place and quickly lit it up with the help of some old books and wood that she could find in the house. As she was throwing in those old tartered books into the fire to make it big enough to keep them warm, one peculiar book caught her attention. It was the diary of one James Huddson written almost 150 years back.

She kept it aside and with all the efforts made the fire quite big, enough to keep them warm throughout the night. Now it was only possible with the morning light that they would be able to move out, every one was exhausted, so they could'nt keep themselves from falling asleep. It was only Jessica who was curious to read the diary who kept awake.

Page 1: Today I am happy like never before, guess I am marrying the most beautiful lady ever seen by anyone in our town. Her eyes have captivated my soul forever and the glow on her skin is like the reflection of my being. It has only been a week now that I know her and I want no further delays in getting married to her. My friends say that I am making a hasty decission but then I don't trust them, they are jealous of me and they would want things to not workout between us. I am truly greatful to God for sending this angel into my life and I have no regrets that I had to wait for a long time to finally convince myself to be married, after all patience has always helped me get the best. However there is one important person's approval I need and this will be resolved as well tomorrow. I have invited father Antonio for dinner tomorrow to introduce him to my would be bride.

Well she has no clue that father Antonio is a priest, I want to keep that as a surprise for her. I don't want her to prepare but I would like her to be her natural self for father to best judge her. Once again I want to end writting today by putting these last words as record that these are the best days of my life.
