Father Mendez and Jessica quickly made it to the chaple and the priest first established the scantury, then with Jessica' help he lowered the body of the monk that was hanging in the room behind the chaple and brought it inside. When Jessica asked the priest why there were doing this he told her, "we need to set all wrong things right and we begin by giving the monk' body it's last burrial rights."

He set the alter at the chaple to prepare for the holy mass and as he was about to begin the celebration, Jessica stopped him. "Father I am not worthy to part take in this holy communion. For I have sinned by falling into the temptation that the wicked sprite offered. I feel disgusted and very guilty."

Father Mendez, "Jessica you know what has been the strength of this wicked sprite? It has been our fear, our guilt, our hate and every ill feeling that it has lead us into. It has no power over us, other than what we give. There is no reason for you to be guilty, for we all have sinned and fallen short of God' glory but don't forget dear one that if you have true repentance in your heart then God' mercy and forgiveness that he offeres to all of us through the death of his son Jesus is much greater. I absolve you from you guilt and sin, be free and sin no more."

The moment the priest accepted Jessica' confession the sprite of Naamak was weakened and he was driven mad in anger, he rushed towards the chaple and tried breaking in but he had lost all power to enter the chaple again for the scantury at the chaple was setup and the power of God flowing through the priest and Jessica was too mighty for the evil to stand against them. The wolf ran deep into the woods and the priest celebrated the holy mass in presence of Jessica.

Jessica felt freedom in that moment and from her heart came an honest prayer for the curse to end, she prayed for the cursed souls of James, Katina, the monk and all those who were killed by the wolf beast. She prayed for the curse to end from the land of Edunsteen and the darkness ended with her honest prayer. The beast was trapped in the endless darkness.
