"Yes Conner? Uh I just arrived at the lobby of my hotel and tomorrow afternoon will be my flight to Bangkok. Yes, yes–I'll just ah–call you once I boarded tomorrow. Bye for–now Conner." I finally ended the call and look at anywhere.

The atmosphere went different as he is still with me, Alastair Armendarez.

"Thanks for the ride." I mumble as I remain casual.

"Is that your boyfriend, Ara?" He ask that makes me look at him. He's now looking at me while still holding the steering wheel of his car.

We're finally at the parking lot of the hotel and basically he will just drop me off.

"He's my suitor." I answered at him. "It's past two o'clock am, Alas. You should go home." Kinuha ko ang bag ko sa aking harapan.

"Tell him to stop!" he said firmly.

"What?" Nilingon ko ito.

"Tell that bastard to stop from courting you!" he told me.

"Why?"

"Because you are with me right now!" Seryosong seryoso ito sa ngayon. "Marry me instead, Ara!" he added that makes me gasp.

Sandali akong natahimik at tila nabingi sa sinabi nito sa akin.

"Pardon me? Tama ba ang narinig ko?"

"Yes! And I am serious right now." his eyes are looking at me right now. Walang mababakas na kung ako man sa kanyang mga mata.

"You're out of your mind, Alas." I shook my head.

"I am. Maybe! And this is because of you!" he added.

Kumunot ang noo ko. "Don't tell that you're still affected by the past.."

"Yes and that fucking past was still hunting me, Ara." napaiwas ako ng aking tingin. "Let's talk upstairs." he took off his seatbelt tsaka lumabas ng sasakyan.

He even get my luggage from the back of his car. Sumunod ako sa kanya at lumabas ng sasakyan. Kinuha ko ang mga gamit ko.

"Where are we?" I ask him.

"I owned this hotel and the airport is definitely in front of this." He answered. "Let's go!" Nauna na itong naglakad sa akin.

My mouth just fell out. Kitang kita ko nalang ang likod nito palayo sa akin. Pagkuway sumunod na rin ako sa kanya.

"Good morning Sir Alastair." the receptionist greeted him.

"Card for the luxury room please." he told to the receptionist na kaagad namang sumunod.

I just remain silent behind his back and just watching his actions. I just can't believe him right now. Hindi pa rin ako makapinawala. Ang daming kong tanong sa aking utak ngayon.

"Here's your card, Sir!" she said. "Welcome to Ace Hotel, Ma'am." she even greeted me. I just smiled at her.
