CHAPTER 19

GABRIEL P.O.V
  
   Eternity.

I think I have reach the point where I should accept the fact that I should be going to that direction. I have a lot of bad that it is now coming back to me. I abused the power given to me by God, the power endowed on me to help and all I did was just run away from my calling. I just see my time as an end now, I don't deserve life again.

I placed my head on my table, reminiscing on my past and everything I had done. My mind twirled as it reminded me and hunted me at the same time. I couldn't help but release the tears dropped that came out of my eyes. I wiped my eyes and sniffed my pain in. I slowly drifted into sleep without knowing and surprisingly I was in another location.

"What is this?" I screamed and my voice echoed in the room. It didn't look like the room had an end but the fact that my voice echoed made it very surprising.

  "We have to talk and I couldn't wait till you sleep," I recognized the voice as soon as I heard it. I was that of the old man who I was supposed to talk to this night.

  "So you made me sleep?"I asked and a light shine at my front causing my me dim my eyes while trying my best to see. The old man emerged from the glowing light, his body giving lighting to the room than it was already bright.

  "Of course, I created you. I can make you sleep anytime," he said and I wowed.

  "If you can make us do anything anytime. Doesn't that makes us puppets?" I asked sincerely and he chuckled, walking close to me.

  "Let me put it this way," he began explaining and paused a little. "The countries in the human world places a bank that makes them their currencies and you still see them maximize the one they have while following the rules they have set that governs thay currency," he contined and i nodded.

  "How do that relate to this?" I asked again.

  " Just take you humans has the currency. There is a setting rule I placed which I follow. I gave you free will which is one of the rule that I have set which makes me not to interfere in your life and that makes you to not be a puppet,"he explained

  " I think I understand now," I said. " But you made me sleep now," I added and he laughed out loud.

  "You need me now and you don't know what to do. At this moment, I am helping you," he said and I nodded in understanding.

  "What is wrong?" I asked.

  " Well, the fight is occuring today and Leah is a better person, so expect her to help,"

   " She was with that Kayden guy,"

   " She is a nephlim. They don't do well with empathy. She knows the pain you feel and she won't want to see you go through that. She is going to help you just as she told you and I want you to follow her," He ordered.

  " So when am I supposed to do anything because I am ready to break that Kayden guy neck," I said in anger while clenching my fist.

  " When Leah takes you out of this world to another dimension, you can go all out. Just tap into the same thing you tap into when you fought for the gangs,"

  " That strength isnt enough to beat supernaturals," I said and he placed his hands on my shoulder looking into my eyes.

  " When you see the supernaturals power, you will automatically par with it," he said, removing his hands and turned to walk away.

  " Will you be with me?" I asked, my head bowed.

  " I am always with you, what do you think run through your veins," he said, smiling. " You are my image. Safe your world," he added and walked into a light that shone again.

  I woke up, raising my head up quickly and I saw a figure standing over me. I looked at him and saw Ortiz looking over me.

  "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I said and pushed him away. He laughed a little before sitting beside me.

  "It is not normal of you to sleep in class. I was about to play an expensive prank on you," He said and I rolled my eyes.

  "You won't even dare," I warned and he chuckled.

  "Gabriel," Teresa called and I turned to face her. "Are you walking me home today?" She asked and then I remembered the whole purpose of my immediate sleep.

  "I don't think so. I have to walk with Leah today, it is kind of important," As I called Leah's name,  she looked at me quickly raising an eyebrow, followed by a quick glance at Teresa who had a fixed glare on Leah.

   'what the fuck is happening,'I asked myself inwardly, nothing the dead stare piercing out of Teresa's house.

   Teresa quicky changed the expression her face, putting on a bright smile facing her direction towards me.

  "I see," she said. "Well, if it is that important then I have nothing to say then," she added and I nodded.

  "Looks like Teresa is Jealous," Ortiz said and I shrugged.

  " It is not possible, She doesn't like me. She has been saying that for a long time and I don't think she can just change her mind just because of Leah," I said and Ortiz laughed.

  " Your ignorance is very amusing. You don't know anything about girls," Ortiz corrected and I stared at him.

  " What do you know about girls?" I asked.

  " Who the fuck are you to ask that question? I am gay, I am basically living their life," He replied, showing off some of his gay qualities that almost got me to puke.

  " Well you have a point," I agreed. " And don't ever do that In front of me," I added as a glimpse of his gesture flashed in my mind again.
