They say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder; I have seen beautiful things but a scene that depicts the definition is rare. And I got to see one and I can't take my eyes off that beauty. When God said he created man in his own image and that we are beautifully and wonderfully made I didn't understand because we have a lot of people on earth so how come but just seeing her sitting reading a book or lying down with her eyes closed breathing peaceful, I couldn't help myself but admire.
I arrived from London five years ago and I spent my time in the church helping my uncle; Uncle Matt, others know him as Pastor Matthew. I usually go with them on their charity trips contributing as much as I can, and I stay at the family gallery. I am 32 years old and 6'2 feet in height, I would say I'm a muscular man with all the right features, I have the looks and physique that every male my age would like to have, and I love fashion something classy but not flashy. My hair is black, curly and long that reached right around my neck. I have blue eyes and a British accent although it is not as thick as the locals you can spot the difference when I'm with other foreigners.
It was a Sunday afternoon after church I couldn't wait to see the girl I had been admiring for so long. I had decided to speak with her strike up a conversation maybe. I was curious as to why she always sits under the apple tree behind the church because if it happened once in a while I felt it was normal, but I can see it's a habit and she enjoyed it there.
FLASHBACK (Five years ago)
"Welcome to my humble home Jase." said Uncle Matt. We had just arrived from the airport, and he sent me to his home. His house was just as you see in movies it wasn't too extraordinary it had a comfortable looking living space and a golden retriever who jumped at me at first sight.
"Hey boy, how are you?" I said looking down at the dog rubbing its head it was friendly it licked my hands and sniffed me trying to guess who I was.
"I think he remembers you, kind of" I heard a woman say. I raise up my head and looked at my Aunt Claudelle. She was a beautiful woman for someone in her age. She had a golden blonde hair with a few strands of grey lining in and blue eyes just like mine. she was a short plump lady with curves and was wearing an apron. My uncle was slightly shorter than me and I would say. He was a brunette with grey eyes and a beard. he stood behind my aunt and hugged her. she smiled and spoke
"How is my sister, hope she is doing well?" I nodded and smiled at them.
"Luckily for you, your cousins aren't here so you get us all to yourself" she said.
"I'm glad, you know how selfish I am with you two." I said and walked over to hug them both and we all laughed.
"Why don't you go and freshen up, hm, I was preparing dinner so have a rest and be back in like an hour okay" She announced and pat my back living me with my uncle.
"You know where your room is, it's still the way you left it." Uncle matt said
" I'm leaving for the church; I've got some business to attend to; you can tag along if you want to." he said
"Okay give me a minute or two I'll drop my stuffs down and be back.' I said and jogged up the flight of stairs. I opened the door to the left and saw my room it really was the same how I had left it and I wouldn't want to change it either. I quickly dropped my bags on the ground and took only my phone and headed downstairs.
"Ok, let's go I'm ready" I said to my uncle. We went into the car, and he drove off to the church. It was like fifteen minutes away from each other and we didn't want to miss dinner we had to be quick.
"I'll grab some files, and you could take a look around see if anything changed while you were gone, we'll meet inside in like thirty" he said rushing off.
