IT had been a few days since Milani had talked, seen or heard from any of her friends. She had been engrossed in her work and practices all week long. The weekend was approaching once again, it was Thursday night.
She was currently seated on the floor of her room finishing up her painting that she had been working on for the last 2 weeks. It was a painting of Tiana from Princess and The frog, it had always been her favorite movie growing up.
It was 7 at night, she had her dark brown beats on that played Look What You've Done by Drake. This was her favorite song at the moment.
Painting brought her so much peace and tranquility, in a world full of hectic and chaotic times, she was able to paint. She loved painting she wanted to be painting.
She saw her door slowly creak open and her dad peaked his bald head inside. He threw her a small grin.
She removed her headphones from her ears.
"The foods done babygirl," he told her and she nodded. Her mom had made Lasagna, fish, garlic bread and Ceaser salad for dinner.
"Ok i'll be down there," she told him and he nodded before closing her door back. She sighed and placed the painting brush back into the water, she looked at her progress so far and smiled before standing. She walked over to her nightstand and grabbed her phone from off the charger. She disconnected her beats and tossed them on her bed.
She looked at her phone and began scrolling through her notifications, both Ziya and Londyn had been texting their groupchat.
