"IS the fit giving or nah?" Londyn asked on the FaceTime video with Milani.
"Oh yeah that's cute girly, meanwhile i'm looking like chop cheese bruh," Lani sighed exasperatedly. She flipped down onto her bed dramatically. It was the day of Kavani basketball game and she only had a hour and a half to get dressed and out of the house otherwise her parents were leaving her. Although she had her own car, she wasn't in the mood to pay for parking.
"Girl what's wrong with the first outfit you had on?" Londyn asked her with a cackle as she sat her phone up on the vanity to begin her light beat.
"It just wasn't spectacular enough ya know, girl these is college students. We gotta look like college students," Lani retorted with a sly grin.
"Ohhh so you tryna be hot in the ass," Londyn hummed with a grin on her face.
"Why not, for the plot," Lani reiterated with a shrug of her shoulders. She quickly popped up from her bed, grabbed her phone and began her trip to her walk in closet.
"Lani don't take all day," Gina called out to her daughter with a warning knock on her door. Lani rolled her eyes, she heard her mothers feet patted down the hall no doubt to tell Zariya the same thing.
"Ok we'll let me go, I'll let you know when we're on the way," Lani told her with a sigh.
"Kk," she spoke and hung up the phone. Lani sighed and looked at the color coordinated closet with a mug on her face. Lani loved to dress, and she could dress, courtesy of her mother. But she could never find anything to wear.
"Ma can you come here," she called out walking out of her closet. A few seconds later Gina walked into her daughter's room.
"Yes Kaimere," she looked at her daughter with a raised eyebrow.
"Can you help me," she pouted poking out her bottom lip.
"Girl if you don't bring ya behind, we got 1 hour before we gotta get out this house," she shook her head before closing her daughter room door. It was around 30 minutes later when Milani finally found her outfit, she was now sitting at her vanity doing her lip combo.
"Lani can I wear your Pink Lulu set," Zariya busted into her room with a large smile on her face.
"Tuh girl no, don't you have a set?" Lani retorted with a slight mug on her face. She hated when her sister wore her things with a passion.
"It don't match with the weather and I don't wanna wear black today, please Lani I'm not gonna get it dirty and I'll give it back," Zariya pleaded walking into her sister closet.
"You gone do my dishes for the next 2 times," Lani told her sister applying her gloss.
"Okk," Zariya smiled walking out of the closet with the light pink lulu set, which included a jacket and shorts.
"What shoes you wearing?" Lani asked her as she ran her fingers through her hair. She had a half up half down install in her hair at the moment that she got done last night by her mother.
