THE loud incessant ringing from a phone is what had awoke Milani that morning. Her brother had been calling her for 10 minutes straight trying to get in contact with her.
Milani groaned loudly as she pushed her head further into her pillow in an attempt to stop the noise. The attempt was useless as the phone rung once again after having stopped for a few minutes.
"He better be inna hospital," she huffed reaching over on the nightstand to grab her phone.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Kavani voiced through the FaceTime call.
"No, what do you want? It's 8 in the morning Kavani," she mugged the camera. Kavani just stared at the camera before his face scrunched up.
"Who room you in?" He asked her with a big mug on his face. Milani scrunched her face up at him before turning off the camera.
She sat up in the bed with a small sigh and looked around the room. She hadn't noticed she was in Ascyris's bedroom. She looked to the left of her and saw that the bed was empty.
Milani placed her hand where he had been laying at and found that it was cold.
He had been out of the bed for awhile.
"I'm at Ziya house," She told him and he nodded.
"I need you to go with me somewhere," he told her and she quickly mugged him before realizing her camera was off.
"Where?" She dragged out turning her camera back on.
"A welcome home party for Kevin," he told her and she sighed exhaustedly, Kevin was the son of their godmother Shay, which led him to be their godbrother. He had been locked up for the last 6 years and it was finally the day he was coming home.
"What time?" She asked him rubbing her hands down her face.
"3, imma pick you up from the crib when you ready so be home soon," he told her and she mugged the phone before telling him bye. Sighing she laid back down on the comfortable pillow and pulled the covers up to her chin.
Checking her notifications she saw that Aj had texted her letting her know that he had a early practice and he would be back soon and to not leave.
She hearted his message before placing it back down on his nightstand, she turned to the other direction and quickly let sleep overcome her.
1 Hour Later
Milani groaned as she felt a slight sensation on her face in her sleep.
"Wake up," Ascyris hummed rubbing her exposed stomach with his hands.
"Hmmm," she shook her head facing in the opposite direction.
"I got you food," he told her, she looked back at him and raised her eyebrow with one of her eyes still closed.
"Breakfast?" She questioned and he nodded holding up the box of food.
