The first round of the tournament was over; both Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai were progressing to the next round. However, your team was barely making it through. Robby had not landed a point yet; Hawk and Demetri were more bothered in arguing with one another, and even you found yourself occasionally distracted, staring at a certain boy from the opposing team. Miguel was the only one up to the usual standard!

To celebrate, the remaining teams organised some sort of meet-up in a bar in the town of Barcelona. After all, it was an occasion worth celebrating. You arrived with your fellow teammates: Hawk, Demetri, and Robby. However, Demetri and Hawk seemed more interested in their conversation, and Robby had wandered off by himself, so you found yourself alone.

With no guidance from your friends, it was hard to stop ordering drinks, the alcohol leaving a bitter stain in your throat before you decided to gulp another one down and another one. Soon enough, the soberness floated away from your body as you began to feel slightly tipsy.

Diverting your gaze to your teammates, you began to feel a sense of loneliness. Sure, Miyagi Do was a team, but Miguel had Sam, and Hawk had Demetri. You were unsure where you stood with Robby. Your relationship with him wasn't labelled yet. Sure, you both cared for each other, but deep down, you knew it wouldn't last in the long term.

A prolonged sigh escaped from your lips. You would not trade your place in this tournament for anything in the world, but you have found yourself on multiple occasions wondering how different your life would have turned out if you had decided to remain at Cobra Kai instead.

Interrupting your disjointed thoughts, your eyes shifted to Robby in horror as he stood in the corner, flirting with some girl on the Iron Dragon's team. Sharp pains of agony dominated your entire body, suffocating your lungs from the lack of air. Robby had cheated on you. Betrayal swirled inside you; Robby simply did not have the guts to end whatever your relationship was with him himself. And this hurt. You had opened up to him before, and you trusted him. And he had now carelessly thrown it all away.

As you continued to watch Robby's swayed movements in aversion, another team arrived at the bar. Quickly, you felt their familiarity. It was Cobra Kai.
"Great." You sighed, irritated. You did not have the energy to deal with them after what you just witnessed, let alone without any backup from your team. Before you could fully register the situation, one of the members took the remaining cup of alcohol from your hands and sat down in the empty seat next to you.

"You're training hard, y/n." Kwon remarked.
"As are you; don't you have some other person to torment?" You retorted.
Kwon smirked. "Maybe."

Silence lingered in between you both, thick with palpable tension, while Kwon, imitating your previous actions, began to down the alcoholic drinks in front of you.

"They were my drinks; you know, I paid for them." You sneered, clenching your jaw.
"I do not see your name on them, y/n." Kwon smugly remarked.
"Whatever," you replied.

Kwon, who was slightly tipsy now himself, shifted his glance to Robby.
"Your boyfriend seems to be busy." He chuckled to himself.
"He's not my boyfriend." You replied defensively.

With his signature smirk still glued on his face, Kwon took a long glance at you. You weren't sure if it was the alcohol affecting him, but he seemed slightly different. He was now much more approachable than the fighter you saw earlier, who almost knocked a guy out. More warm. Lost in your thoughts, you barely noticed Kwon get up from his seat and sit down beside Robby, tauntingly.

"No need to worry; I'll keep her warm instead of you tonight. I have to go now. Someone is waiting for me." He whispered assertively to Robby as he fixed his gaze on you, an envious scowl forming on Robby's face. Before you knew it, he was right beside you again.

"What did you just tell him?" You questioned with hostility, crossing your arms.

A laugh escaped Kwon's lips as he raised his hands in innocence. "Nothing that he didn't know already. You seem to want to know a lot about someone who you were just adamant about that wasn't your boyfriend." Kwon acknowledged in a condescending sneer.

Shaking your head, you attempted to ignore Kwon's foolish attempts to provoke you as you responded. "He's not my boyfriend. Tell him whatever you want; he's not my concern anymore."

A satisfied huff escaped Kwon's lips as he locked eyes with you, smirking.
"Good. You wanna get out of here, y/n?"
