Kwon was not going to let Kreese manipulate someone he loved. No way. He was going to stop Kreese.

An endless cycle of troubled thoughts swarmed Kwon's mind. The suffocating weight of the sack did not bother him anymore; all Kwon could think about was you. He had to act soon, or else Kreese would win.

Kwon shifted his gaze to you. You gradually began to place down your sack, freeing your fists. Studying you rigorously, he noticed an unfamiliar, almost demonic glint in your eyes. You could unleash your fury at any second now. Time was running out.

Kwon abruptly turned around in his position in the circle, so he directly faced a fatigued Tory. He immediately paused in his tracks, causing Tory to stumble back.

"What are you doing, you idiot? Are you trying to make our punishment even longer?" Tory snarled as she clenched her jaw.

To Tory's surprise, Kwon did not respond with one of his usual smug remarks. Instead, a pained expression lingered on his face as deep lines marked his forehead.

"Push me." Kwon demanded in a serious tone.
Tory's eyebrows raised in astonishment as her eyes widened. "What?" She exclaimed with pure perplexion.

Kwon shook his head irritably; he did not have time for this. "You care about y/n, right?" He questioned.
Tory nodded in response as Kwon continued, his lips pursed. "Do you not see what Kreese is doing? This is not a punishment; it's a lesson. Kreese is trying to manipulate her into something she's not. If you want to stop him, push me now!" Kwon exclaimed, his voice etched with urgency.

Tory did not have to hesitate. She didn't need a reason to protect you; she
truly valued your friendship. The tournament had brought you closer to each other; you were the only person there for her after her mother's death. You were her light, encouraging her to fight and dragging her away from the lifeless void that gnawed deep inside of her.

Besides, Tory would not hesitate to hit Kwon; his constant arrogance and sly remarks were irritating.

Without wasting another moment, Tory harshly pushed Kwon to the floor with full force as he plummeted helplessly to the ground. As Kwon fell, he deliberately knocked his teammate in front of him, creating a domino effect of fallen students.

Hearing the sudden commotion, you released your clenched fists and turned your wholehearted attention to the scene in front of you. Mira reciprocated this.

Kwon groaned theatrically in discomfort, concealing his satisfied smirk. His plan had worked. The fight did not break out. Kwon proceeded with his act, his face contorting into a fake expression of exasperation.

Sensei Kim briefly studied her fallen students before shifting her frustrated gaze to Kwon. "Get up, all of you! Kwon, why is it that every time we use this punishment, you end up rolling around on the floor? I'm disappointed in you all. Training is over." Sensei Kim snarled before walking off in aggravation.

Relieved gasps echoed across the room as the students instantly dropped the sacks to the ground, soothing their muscles as the strain on them diminished.

Reciprocating your team, you released the sack as you let out a heavy sigh. Composing yourself, you gave Mira one last belittling smirk before turning around and heading to the locker room.

However, the sight of a fallen Kwon stopped you in your tracks. An unfamiliar expression was plastered onto his face, one which you couldn't quite work out.

Noticing your concerned gaze, Kwon gave you a slight smirk before he returned to his miserable expression. Kwon was acting weirder than his usual self. But you were worn out from the strenuous training, so you decided not to interrogate him. You trailed behind Tory to the locker room, leaving Kwon lying on the ground.
