It started with a rumor. Leonidas had intercepted a message from a distant safehouse about a young mutant on the run-a girl named Morena, who had the ability to manipulate metal. She had escaped from an Aegis transport convoy in Northern Greece and was being hunted by a rogue group of mutants known as The Reapers. These mutants specialized in stealing powers by draining energy from others, leaving their victims weak-or worse.

"We need to find her before The Reapers do," Leonidas said during a briefing. "She's scared, untrained, and vulnerable."

Kwstas, Nikolas, Melina, and Spuros volunteered for the mission. They traveled to Thessaloniki, the last place Morena had been spotted, and began their search in the sprawling, labyrinthine neighborhoods of the city.

Finding Morena

It didn't take long for Kwstas and the group to pick up her trail. Morena was hiding in an abandoned warehouse near the waterfront. As they entered, Kwstas noticed the way metal objects-tools, scraps, even pipes-seemed to shift and vibrate as they got closer.

"Someone's definitely here," Kwstas whispered.

Suddenly, a pile of metal scraps flew toward them, forming a crude barrier. "Stay back!" a voice called from the shadows.

"It's okay!" Kwstas said, stepping forward with his hands raised, his light casting a soft glow. "We're not here to hurt you. We're here to help."

A girl emerged from the shadows, her coppery hair tied back in a messy ponytail. Her eyes were wide with fear but tinged with determination. "How do I know you're not lying?"

Nikolas stepped forward, his tone gruff. "Do we look like Aegis to you? We're mutants, like you."

Morena hesitated, her gaze darting between them. Finally, her eyes landed on Kwstas, who gave her a kind smile. "We're not here to hurt you. I promise."

Something about his voice seemed to calm her. The metal barrier lowered, and she stepped closer. "I've been running for days," she said, her voice trembling. "They're coming for me."

"We won't let them take you," Kwstas assured her.

Morena looked at him with a soft, hopeful expression, and Melina, standing off to the side, raised an eyebrow. Spuros nudged her and whispered, "She's already crushing on him."

Nikolas noticed too, his jaw tightening as Morena stepped closer to Kwstas, visibly relaxing in his presence.

Ambush by The Reapers

Their moment of peace was shattered by the sound of footsteps and laughter echoing through the warehouse. The Reapers had found them.

A man with a skeletal face and glowing red veins stepped into view, flanked by two others-a woman who seemed to shimmer like a mirage and a hulking figure covered in metallic armor.

"Well, well," the skeletal man sneered. "Looks like we've got ourselves a party. Hand over the girl, and we might let you live."

"Not a chance," Nikolas growled, stepping in front of Morena.

The skeletal man chuckled. "Suit yourselves. Take them."

The Fight

The warehouse erupted into chaos.

Kwstas lit up the room with bursts of blinding light, disorienting the Reapers. Nikolas used his seismic powers to create shockwaves that knocked the armored mutant off balance. Melina revealed a new ability-she could create small barriers of shimmering energy, which she used to protect Morena and Spuros.
