Story Song: I Would Do Anything For You - Foster the People

Third Person P.O.V

Aleks had beautiful, fair skin. He knew that, the fans knew that, and Hell, even the guys knew it.

One day, he felt like it wasn't enough, his bright tattoos and dark shades of clothing. It didn't do him justice, he concluded, looking in his mirror everyday and not liking what he sees.

He wanted something as pretty as his skin.

Eventually he browsed the internet for clothes, too embarrassed to go to the mall for what he was looking for.

All he wanted was pretty pastels, but little to nothing came up in the men's section.

There was no hope. This nagging feeling would have to stick with him until he came up with a solution.

A few days passed, and he realized that he couldn't live forever wondering 'What if?'. So he made the bold decision to look in the women's section.

It was heaven. He had never thought about girls clothes like this, something so within reach. There were beautiful pearly whites and shades of salmon, and frills and ruffles.

He fawned over them, and made a quick decision to buy some of the lovely items.

And that was the small start to his collection. He mastered his makeup skills too. Sometimes it would be in shimmery golds, another time a smoky eye, and even the triumphant winged eyeliners. That was a bitch to do but it gave him that subtle sultry he craved.

He kept it all in a box, and then eventually a bigger box in the back of his closest. He only brought it out when he was down in the dumps. Though sometimes, he was just in the mood to feel beautiful on a different level.

That was until he made a surprising companion. James had moved into his apartment with him on the basis that they were now lovers.

He didn't mind hiding it from James too much, but it was always in the back of his mind.

He missed it, but he didn't want to jeopardize things with the possible love of his life.

It was an amazing summer morning, an orange glow throughout the whole house. James and him decided to take a day, more than good on videos and editing.

He didn't remember what the case was - maybe James was hanging up his clothes - but he heard his voice ring clear throughout the house.

Calling for his boyfriend.

Aleks rose from the couch reluctantly. He took his time getting to their room, but when he was in, his heart dropped in his stomach. Seeing as James rifled through his box, the box, curiously holding up a silk skirt.

"Aleks, what is this?" He asked in a soft tone, not sounding angry or disgusted, more like he was walking on thin ice.

"Those are my sisters clothes. She keeps leaving them here every time she visits, and they've accumulated to the point where they have their own box." He laughed nervously, but James' face didn't waver.

"Aleks, if they're yours, you can tell me."

"They're not." A small smile grew on James' face as he ran his thumbs over the soft fabric. He pressed it against his cheek, closing his eyes for a second.

"I wouldn't mind it if they were." Aleks' eyebrows shot up then, giving up his whole facade.

"You wouldn't?" He asked shyly, eyes downcast.

"No, I wouldn't. I mean, I've never thought about this coming up before. But looking at all this pretty shit, and looking at you right there, I think you'd look amazing." A wide grin grew on Aleks' face, and James stood up to give him a hug. Aleks pressed his cheek against James' shoulder.

"And I definitely wouldn't mind a little fashion show." He muttered in Aleks' ear, grin clear in his voice. Aleks pulled away, not even bothering trying to hide his excitement.

"Seriously?" James nodded, second-hand happiness rubbing off on him from his partner.

"Okay, I'll be right back." He said, practically bouncing over to the box. He lifted it and took it with him to the bathroom.

James sat patiently in their joint room as Aleks applied his makeup.

First a concealer and foundation that matched his skin tone. Then a shimmering rose eyeshadow, followed by a subtle winged eyeliner.

And then he moved onto his box, unsure of what to wear first.

He found an eggshell high waisted skirt, noting that his legs were prickly and unshaven.

"James! I'm gonna be longer than you thought! I haven't done this in awhile.." Aleks laughed nervously. A cooed, "Take your time," followed from the actual love of his life.

Aleks rushed in shaving his legs, some places a little patchy, but he didn't mind too much. He applied a lotion that soothed the somewhat irritated skin.

He then shimmied into pink flowery panties, throwing the skirt on over it. He sifted through his items, stumbling upon his treasured champagne turtleneck halter top. He paired that with white socks accompanied by lace frill at the ends.

He was surprised to find himself nervous, taking a breather before opening up the bathroom door. He poked his head out first, drawing the attention from James. He closed out of whatever app he had open, stowing his phone in his pocket. He shot him a reassuring smile.

Aleks took a deep breath before fully stepping out, staying close to the doorway.

"I'm sorry if this is weird for you.." He cringed, trailing off.

It was so reassuring seeing a grin grow on James' face, and he got up to inspect his lover.

"Wow," James said breathlessly, running his hands over the smooth skin of Aleks' shoulders.

"You look beautiful. Better than I could have ever imagined. Look at that, you even did your makeup. It's so nice." James cooed, and Aleks rolled his eyes.

"Shut the fuck up, dude."

And it continued like that, Aleks trying on garment after garment and getting cute praises and sweet kisses from James.
