"WHAT DO YOU SAY?"

"Sorry,"

"Good."

"—Sorry that you're such an unbearable slintheaded shuckface," Dion spat quickly before earning a smack on the back of her head.

"Ow! What the shuck Nick?!"

"Apologize. For real." He looked her sternly in the eye.

She rolled her eyes and groaned, "Why am I the one apologizing? He's the one who pulled it out of me!"

"Yes, but he's new here and he's stupid."

The topic of the hour yelled in offense, "Hey!"

"You're not stupid, though. Are you, Don?"

Her arms were crossed, eyes looking away from the leader, "No..." she answered begrudgingly.

"Then say you're sorry!"

"Fine!" she threw her hands in the air, eyes now staring directly at the Greenie in front of her—who, she noticed backed away slightly in fear, instantly raising the edges of her lips—"I'm sorry you were ever born."

"Good Grievers—just. Apologize, man, that's all I'm asking out of you." Nick sighed in defeat while the rest of the Council was enjoying the show, almost each of them wore the same smiles on their faces.

She grunted and rolled her eyes.

"Dear, stupid," she started.

"Oy." Nick sighed and rubbed his forehead in defeat.

"I am very sorry for my violent gesture towards you. Just know that you did it to yourself." the girl fake smiled towards the boy's way.

The leader sighed again, "I would tell her to do it again genuinely but, it might take a while—and she's not exactly wrong." (he whispered only to himself)—"So, that's the best apology you can get for now. You're dismissed now Jack."

"Wait! What about my apology?"

"Oh, right. Jack! Get your ass back in here."

The brunette obeyed the leader, though his slight hesitance was noticable but he walked back nonetheless.

"Apologize." he said almost lowly just by Jack's ear.

One look from the leader and said boy immediately stumbled to his words, "S-sorry."

Dion was quick to retort, "What's that? Sorry can't hear you." with a smug smile on her face.

"Dion!" warned Nick.

She rolled her eyes, "Apology not accepted but I will keep it for future references. Now get out."

He did as told without another word in, leaving the room silent when he left. Only the sound of Dion's shallow breaths could be heard.

The silence was soon cut off by a muffled sneeze.

"Bless you," the whole room said in unison which caused the girl to flinch a little.

"Thanks." she replied, sounding a lot smaller than the combined voices.

"Anyway," Nick began, looking back towards the rest of the Keepers. Causing everyone's gaze to turn to the leader.

"So. Now that our new Greenie has finally tried out all of the jobs. Time to decide what his permanent job will be. Let's start with Frypan." He pointed over to the Cook to start talking.

He let out a small sarcastic laugh and crossed his arms, "Keep him out of my kitchen."

"Noted." Nick chuckled and started to scribble onto his notes, "Zart?"
