"SO. IT'S BEEN AN EVENTFUL WEEK —to say the least."

The remaining Council members scattered around the room, watching as Alby finally stood up from his seat in the middle.

"First one of our Keepers goes out of commission—he can thank himself for that. Challenging the one person he shouldn't—then one of our Runners goes out of commission too, taking down our leader and substitute with him." he crossed his hands with a sigh, "And now, —now our resident trouble-magnet has mysteriously gotten a seizure and is currently out cold."

"Blessing in disguise, maybe." Winston whispered, but loud enough for everyone to hear. Hearing that, everyone made a face like he just told them he's married to a cow, including Winston himself who winced looking back at his own words. "Bad joke, my bad." he raised his hands in surrender.

"SHIT, SHIT, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED, MINHO?"

Said boy was wide-eyed still. Head still in the fact that there was a girl seizing under his hands right now. He didn't answer.

"Minho!"

The Runner snapped out of his thoughts and looked up to see the Track-hoe Keeper looking into his eyes — keeping that same eye contact as he attempted to move the girl away from his hold — "I– I don't know." he swallowed, now noticing the two Slicers who were moving the girl away from him to her side.

He huffed a heavy breath, "She– I don't know. We were just talking then she just fell and started seizing."

Zart turned his head in confusion, "What?"

The Med-jacks arrived and with the help of Alex and Peter — the two Slicers who had came in not long after Zart — putting Dion on a stretcher and taking her away whilst they picked her up, Jeff went and tried to do something to stop her seizure.

"Minho!" Zart snapped the Runner out of his trance, his eyes stop following the stretcher as it disappeared from his sight.

"I don't know, man!" he yelled. "Shuck, sorry. —It was like something switched, okay. One moment she was telling me to shut it the other she just stopped responding. Like she wasn't there anymore."

The Track-hoe Keeper's brows knitted together at the revelation, he himself not knowing what to make of the information.

"WE'VE GOT OUR WORK CUT OUT FOR US, boys."

Just as he finished his sentence, the door to the Hut slammed open and enters one of the many topics of the Gathering.

"You're up." Alby (sort of) greeted as she walked up next to him, eyebrows raising to see the girl he last saw unconscious at the Med Hut now freely stomping in the middle of a Gathering.

"Yeah, yup, I'm all good. I'm here to help."

The Second in Command immediately shook his head at her, "No, absolutely not. You are to rest for the rest of the day."

"Wha— I'm fine."

"You're not."

"I'm fi—" she tried to argue again, only to be cut off by the rest of the room.

"No, you're not." the entire room of Keepers said in unison.

Dion's shoulders slumped in annoyance, rolling her eyes. "Fine. Whatever. —But I am helping you find a substitute." she paused, remembering her babysitting duties—but also because he was the Keeper, yes, that too, "And I'm bringin' Minho with me!"
