EXPECTING A HEAVILY HUNGOVERED GIRL, Nick panicked to find her room empty the next morning.
"Hey, kid." she popped out of nowhere behind him, shocking the brunette into a high-pitched scream.
Dion's mouth dropped in amused-shock, "What was that?" her smile, now resemble one of that a fox's grin, widened and very obviously holding back a laugh.
"Shut up." Dion could see the red rising up around Nick's neck in embarassment, he tried to shake it away and move the conversation on, "You okay?"
Dion furrowed her brows in confusion, "Why wouldn't I be?"
"Oh I don't know maybe because you basically drank until you almost killed someone and yourself last night?" he deadpanned with a slight 'obviously' tone.
Dion clicked her tongue, "Drama queen."
Nick wanted so badly to fight her in that moment but he was too distracted by the fact that his friend was genuinely okay. No headaches or nausea, it was as if last night never happened to her. —Not to mention she's awake already, at this hour. Dion don't even wake up the hours she's supposed to! Which made him start the interrogation.
"No leftover nausea? Head pounding? The unbearable will to not live?" he stepped forward, grabbing ahold of her face in his hands to inspect her around, the girl's expression dropped to less of what she had before—which wasn't much to begin with considering the hour.
The girl contemplated for a while before a light bulb lit up in her mind, "Comes to think of it, I do feel a bit nauseous looking at your face," she smirked.
"Yeah, you're fine." Nick huffed in annoyance with a following eyeroll, his hands dropping to his side.
In response, she shrugged with a smile, walking into her designated Hut towards her bed, sitting down with a cup in hand.
"Anyway, how's the other guy?" she asked as she took a sip from her cup.
Nick followed in suit, taking a seat next to her, "He's gone."

"I might have to take his place today," he smiled her way, "I'm leaving Alby in charge. I'm here so you can send me off." in that moment, Dion was met with that annoying, quippy, and slightly cocky boy she became friends with.
Dion gave him a look of sarcasm, "Wow. And here I thought that turd died the same day I did."
"Which was never." his index finger pointed in front of her face.
She slaps his hand away playfully, "Go. Doors about to open."
Nick stood up and walked towards the door, "Try not to kill anyone," he turned around one last time with a smile.
"Try not to die." she responded with the same tone and smile, the two then waved each other farewell without looking.
