THE TWO RUNNERSRAN PAST Nick who's currently giving the new Greenie a tour.
"What's up with the scrawny Greenies lately." the dark-haired boy smirked, making his way towards the Map Room.
"Shut up, Jack," the Keeper hissed at his Runner. "You were a scrawny Greenbean too." he added, breath unfaltering.
As soon as the two boys were out of earshot, the brown-haired Greenie asked the leader.
"Who are they?"
"Those were the Runners. The one with black hair? That's Minho, the Keeper. And the other one? That's Jack, I don't think anyone here really likes that guy, we're all just pretending." the leader joked and nudging the younger boy.
The Greenie, of course, chuckled at the boy's attempt to joke.
"Hey, Nick!" a boy with ambiguously blonde curly hair yelled while approaching the two.
"Ah! Hey, Fred." he turned to the new kid, "Greenie, meet Alfred, he was last month's Greenie, I think you two will get along just fine."
"Nice to meet you Greenbean. Kinda feels weird calling someone else Greenie," he smiled happily and offered his hand to shake.
The boy, of course, took it and shook his hand firmly. And as if the handshake had triggered something in his mind. It clicked.
"Stan," he whispered softly with a look of a bit of shock on his face.
That's his name. That's it.
"What'd you say Greenie?" Nick crouched his head a bit to face the Greenie.
"My name. It's Stan!" He hollered with a smile growing on his face.
"Well, nice to meet you Satan!" the three boys turned their heads over to the direction of the voice to see Dion snickering while walking up to them.
"Sorry, couldn't help myself. Nice to meet you, Stan, I'm Dion." she smiled widely and offered the boy her hand, which he gladly took and return her smile with a hint of shock.
"Alright, it was nice meeting you, Stan. I've gotta get back to work, Grumpy Gally's gonna have my head when he realizes I'm no—"
As if on cue, the boy in question yelled from behind them with a hammer in his hand.
"Donald! Quit your freeloadin' and get back to work, ya' shank!"
"There it is." she motioned with her fingers at the familiar yell, waving goodbye to the three boys, she turned towards where she's supposed to be, "Alright, alright! I'm coming, quit your shuck yellin', craptain." she mumbled the last bit.
"He's not gonna hit her with that hammer is he?" Alfred wondered with a hint of worry from his spot.
"He won't," Nick paused, "Right?" he mumbled his hesitation, the Greenie turning his head towards the leader.
