It was nighttime when Orm decided to visit Yoko. With brimming enthusiasm, he made a quick call before ringing the doorbell.

"Yoko, it's me, Orm! I'm outside," he announced in his trademark playful tone that always managed to elicit a smile. "Sorry to drop by unannounced, but I couldn't resist the temptation to see you. Plus, I heard from Ling that you've been sick. I want to hear how you're doing firsthand!"

Yoko rushed to open the door for Orm, his energy soon lighting up the room as if he carried the sun with him. He ran to Yoko and hugged her tightly, his laughter filling the air. "I can't believe you didn't tell me you were sick! How dare you be like this without telling me?" he exclaimed, as he squeezed her lovingly.

Yoko felt a rush of warmth as she hugged Orm; the worry she had felt for his health faded a little at her friend's touch. "I'm sorry, Orm. I didn't mean to worry anyone, especially you," she apologized, returning the hug tenderly.

At that moment Faye came out of the kitchen. She had decided to cook something special for Yoko tonight, drying her hands on a cloth. The air was filled with the delicious aroma of the Thai curry she was preparing. "Yoko, dinner is ready," she announced with a smile that faded when she saw Orm in the house. "Orm! I didn't expect to see you here. It's a nice surprise."

"Faye! I'm glad to see you too!" Orm replied, his smile brightening the room even more. "I wanted to see Yoko and make sure she was okay. That smells so delicious. Can I stay for dinner?"

"Of course, there's always enough for everyone," Faye said smiling, extending her invitation with sincerity. "I'd love for you to stay. We're serving a special dish tonight, with a Thai twist, of course."

As the three of them moved to the dining room, Yoko felt a surge of joy at her friend's unexpected visit. "Thank you for coming, Orm. I'm glad we're together. There's nothing better than a good dinner and the company of friends," she felt the relief from her illness becoming palpable.

Orm smiled as he sat down, looking at Faye with curiosity and a slight hint of mischief in his eyes. " Mmm this looks delicious, and by the way how have you been Faye? It's been days since we talked."

"Thanks, I've been really busy with work, facing some challenges with shareholders, but here I am, surviving," Faye replied, feeling slightly shy at the compliment that resonated with the warmth of friendship. "But really, I'm glad you're here. Yoko needs some rest and relaxation, and what better way to do it than with her friend."

"I was already missing my good friend too," Orm joked as she helped herself to some of the dinner, a mouthwatering mix of colors and aromas. "I'm very busy too, but I always find time for my friends and fun, especially when there's delicious food involved."

Dinner was spent in an atmosphere filled with laughter and conversation. The three shared stories of their day and enjoyed the flavors of the exquisite food. And although the day had brought tension, Faye felt grateful for the warmth of friendship that filled her home, creating a haven in that corner of Bangkok.

After dinner, Faye excused herself by retreating to her study to check some emails, leaving Orm and Yoko alone. The friends, for their part, headed to the living room, to have more privacy in their conversation.

"So how have you been?" Orm asked, settling back on the couch with a worried expression. "It's been a while since I heard from you."

Yoko sat down beside him, her mind overwhelmed. "It's been really complicated lately," she began, feeling the urge to vent. "Long story short... Pwan... Pwan is trying to break us up. My father knows about my relationship with Faye, you know how he is, he's furious."
