A few days passed, and after the emotional storm, everything seemed to be returning to some semblance of normality. Yoko had visited her father, Chet, who sincerely apologized to her. However, she knew she needed time to forgive him; the road to restoring their relationship would not be easy.

Meanwhile, her connection with Faye grew stronger every day. They shared many moments of closeness, laughter and mutual support. This day, however, there was a special tension in the air; Yoko was very anxious because the final results of her penultimate university course would be announced. Between her distance learning, her relationship with Faye and all the problems that plagued her, Yoko had been working very hard.

Finally, the moment arrived. She was sitting at her desk, her heart pounding as she prepared to open the page with the results. Faye, beside her, was even more nervous than she was.

"Open up! I want to see how you did," Faye exclaimed, her excitement palpable.

Yoko took a deep breath, feeling a knot in her stomach. "What if I did wrong?" She pouted, worry etched on her face.

Without a second thought, Faye quickly kissed her on the lips. "That can't be possible! You've tried so hard. Come on, open up!"

Finally, Yoko opened the page, but closed her eyes, unable to look. At that moment, Faye, who had peeked in a little further, quickly saw that Yoko had passed the subject! Happiness burst out of her being like an explosion of color.

"You did it!" Faye shouted before kissing her again and hugging her enthusiastically. "We're in the office, someone will hear us! Calm down, Faye," she tried to contain herself, but the euphoric moment was too much.

Still, Faye couldn't contain her joy. "I don't care! Congratulations, my love! You only have one more and you graduate. I'm so proud of you," she said as she continued to kiss and hug her.

In the midst of the celebration, the door swung open, and Ling appeared in the office and witnessed the whole scene, a look of disbelief on her face. "My God, Faye! You look like a teenager. You're in the office!" she reproached her, causing Yoko to look at her with a mocking smile, enjoying the reprimand Faye was receiving.

Faye blushed, a little embarrassed by her actions, but the joy on her face couldn't be contained. "Oh, let me enjoy this moment! Yoko approved!" Faye replied, unable to stop smiling as she hugged Yoko, who was also laughing.

Ling rolled her eyes, though she couldn't help but smile at the scene. "Congratulations Yoko! Just make sure they don't blow up the office in their joy, okay?"

Yoko smiled and nodded, letting Faye hug her, after all "everyone knows we're a couple" Faye added, Ling held her head at this last comment, left the papers that were for Faye on the desk and walked away.

The office had been quieter lately, so Faye decided it was the perfect time to take Yoko out to lunch at a fancy restaurant in downtown Bangkok. It was a way to celebrate, to put recent tensions behind her, and to enjoy the company of the woman she loved. Yoko smiled excitedly when she heard about the plans.

Wagyu Beef Steak to start, keen to enjoy the vibrant flavour and variety of dishes that Thai cuisine had to offer. Faye, in a celebratory spirit, decided to order a bottle of champagne. However, just as she was about to confirm the order, she remembered that Yoko did not drink alcohol.
