It was 3 AM when Faye woke up, sensing the restlessness emanating from Yoko. Her partner was clearly not having a good night's sleep, and guilt began to wash over her. Faye moved closer to her, wrapping her in a warm hug, trying to calm her with soft words but not waking her.

— Shhh , dream sweet things, my good girl —he whispered in her ear, feeling Yoko's sweet breath caress his skin.

As the tension in Yoko's body began to ease, she turned, even in her sleep, to partially rest on Faye, seeking the warmth of her presence. Faye smiled and began to rub her back in gentle movements, like a balm for her restlessness. The touch of her skin was soothing, though deep down Faye knew her own mind was at war.

Inside, Faye was distraught. Not only was she worried that Yoko would have to live with Pwan for a month, but the thought of history repeating itself was torturous. Pwan had proven to be an influential and manipulative figure, and this brought back memories in Faye that she did not want to relive.

"I'll think of something," she told herself, trying to drown her fears with the warmth of Yoko's body, which was slowly becoming more relaxed. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply, allowing herself to feel the beat of her heart that reminded her of how much she loved Yoko.

However, her mind kept wandering between possible scenarios and plans of action. How could she protect Yoko without seeming like an intruder in her professional life? That question echoed in her head as she fought against the shadows of insecurity.

Moments later, Yoko's body finally seemed to find the rest it so desperately needed, and the peaceful look on her face made Faye's heart swell with love. "I can't let anything hurt him," she thought, and determination began to grow within her.

As she gently stroked Yoko's back, Faye promised that she would do everything she could to protect what they had. No matter how difficult the situation with Pwan was, their love would always be the most important thing.

The next day, Faye woke up before Yoko, feeling the need to start the day with a bit of normality. She headed to the kitchen, where Maria was already making coffee, the aroma filling the air with a comforting warmth.

"Good morning, Maria," Faye said, trying to smile as she bent down to pet Susy, who was wagging her tail happily. After giving her a bowl of food, she straightened up and noticed Maria looking at her with a motherly air.

—Better today? —Maria asked, her voice full of curiosity and concern.

"Yes, Maria, don't worry. It was just a misunderstanding," Faye replied, trying to sound nonchalant. However, the discomfort on her face didn't go unnoticed by Maria, who decided not to ask any further.

Later, Yoko stood up, already dressed and ready to go to her internship. Faye put her arms around her, ready to offer her a refuge before she faced the outside world.

" How are you?" Faye asked, feeling the tension in Yoko's muscles.

Yoko came over and kissed her tenderly. "I'm fine. Just a little nervous about today."
