Hello again!!! Here is the second part of chapter 16! I look forward to hearing from you!

Faye headed to a small street food stand they used to go to when they were young. Upon arriving, Lux looked around and smiled. "I can't believe this place hasn't changed at all even though it's been more than ten years," she said, admiring the hustle and bustle of the surroundings.

"I told you, it's the best street food in Thailand," Faye suggested enthusiastically, and they both laughed, feeling a surge of nostalgia.

After ordering a selection of dishes, they sat down at a table at the far end, surrounded by the familiar bustle of the market. The atmosphere was cozy, and the aroma of the food reminded them of old times.

Lux broke the ice. "Who would think that one of the wealthiest women still eats at places like this?" she said, laughing as she caressed the paper menu.

Faye smiled, enjoying the joke. "My social position has nothing to do with my tastes. Authentic food has a taste you just can't find in a fancy restaurant."

Lux nodded, and Faye continued, "You know, the first time I had dinner with Yoko , we weren't even dating yet, we were on a small business trip. I took her to a roadside stall, hahaha ! She was so surprised, I think she was scared of me back then."

Lux laughed. "Who wouldn't be scared?" she said, winking. "I've heard several comments about you that surprised me."

"Yeah? Which ones? That I'm evil?" Faye made an exaggerated bossy face, causing Lux to laugh even harder, holding her belly. The connection between the two was palpable, full of laughter and complicity.

"You haven't changed at all," Lux added with a smile, watching as Faye relaxed in her company, returning to the Faye she remembered from her youth.

The dinner continued with laughter and anecdotes, as if time had never passed. It was a moment Faye knew she would treasure, a breath of youth and freedom in the midst of her busy life.

While enjoying their meal, Faye and Lux began sharing memories of their past adventures.

"Remember that time we decided to climb that hill?" Faye asked, a smile lighting up her face. "We thought it would be an easy hike, but we got lost and had to turn back in the rain."

"How could I forget! It was a total disaster," Lux replied, laughing. "We had to ask for help from some fishermen who were passing by. I have never felt so embarrassed and amused at the same time."

"And you, with your patent leather boots," Faye added, laughing. "I saw you stumble so many times that I thought we would never make it to the top."

Lux laughed out loud, bringing her hand to her forehead. "Oh, and that moment when you wanted to take a selfie at the top but fell in the process! I still have that photo. It was the best memory of our adventure."

Faye made a playful face. "Don't remind me of that. But you're right, that was hilarious. At the time, I thought you were going to die laughing."

"It was one of the best getaways we ever had," Lux continued, smiling. "We've always had a quirky way of finding adventure, from our beach getaways to those nights out that never should have happened."

"And what about that time we snuck into an exclusive club because we thought we were important?" Faye recalled, playing with a noodle on her plate. "The bouncer looked us up and down and, before he let us in, he gave us a lecture on how to order things. You ended up ordering him a cocktail, and you didn't even know what it was!"
