Hello! Let's continue with this! They say that after calm comes the storm.......

Days before....................

Pwan walked through the cold hospital hallways, her fury driving her as each step echoed in her mind. The news of Chet's suicide attempt had reached her ears like just another piece of gossip, and although she had wanted to ignore her curiosity, the idea of confronting him now seemed opportune to find out what had happened, perhaps it was true that he did it for his daughter.

As he entered the room, the sight of Chet lying on the bed, pale and weak, sent a chill down his spine. The man who had represented so much power and disdain was now only a shadow. But Pwan did not feel sorry; on the contrary, his contempt grew.

" What are you doing here, Pwan?" Chet said, his voice shaky but firm, as he forced a smile as false as a three-dollar bill.

"I've come to see the great fallen figure. I never thought you were so weak, Chet," she replied, hands on hips, scorning him. "Would it hurt too much to admit that you've ruined your own daughter's life?"

Chet sighed and stared up at the ceiling, as if searching for answers in the fluorescent lights. "I've made a lot of mistakes, I know," he said, his voice filled with regret. "And I tried to be a good father, but I've only caused harm. I want to make things right now, get out of politics and start over."

Pwan smiled, a sharp, sarcastic sound. " And you think that will erase your crimes? I don't care about your repentance or how 'honest' you want to be now." Moving closer, he added. "All I want is for Yoko to get away from Faye. And you've been of no use to me."

Chet looked at her with cruelty and disappointment. "Do you really think you can? You only bring more misery to yourself. Keep up your vendetta, but don't involve me in it."

Pwan felt a raging rage surge through her. Chet's words were a provocation and only fueled her inner fire. "You are not one to lecture me. My only goal here is to separate Yoko from Faye, and I will do whatever it takes." She leaned toward him, her gaze defiant. "I am not interested in what you want for your 'family'. I only wish to see it destroyed."

Chet's sarcastic laugh echoed through the room, full of bitterness. "Then you haven't learned anything, Pwan. You're sinking into an endless cycle of hate, and that will only make them stronger."

Still staring at him, Pwan turned and walked out of the room, leaving a trail of resentment behind her. The sight of Chet, vulnerable, had only strengthened her resolve. She didn't need any advice, nor his regret. Her mind was made up: she wasn't going to let Faye have Yoko, if she wasn't hers she wouldn't be anyone's, much less a brat's.

mind began to race, wondering if Pwan would actually do something to harm his daughter. He shook his head, remembering how he had always known Pwan well. He had never shown any inclinations toward that kind of cruelty. Maybe he was wrong to worry.

But as he thought of her, a slight uneasiness settled in his chest. Although he wanted to believe that his daughter was safe from Pwan and his desire for revenge, the woman's words echoed in his mind. The mixture of worry and resignation filled his heart as he looked out the hospital window, where a new day was beginning to dawn, but his mind was still torn between hope and fear, and he couldn't do anything anyway. Yoko didn't want to see him and he had to remain hospitalized for a while longer.
