The Reunion

Clemont's POV 

"Is that you?", Ash and Serena said at the same time.

I turned my head almost immediately. Korrina and Bonnie seemed to do so as well, intrigued. The two at the door were staring at each other, their eyes suspended on each other in disbelief, Ash's auburn meeting with Serena's cerulean. 

"Just kiss already, you two!", Bonnie yelled out, breaking the silence.

Both walked into the room, slightly embarrassed at what happened. I wanted to break the awkwardness that had formed. Deep inside though, I was incredibly excited as me and Bonnie's plan worked spectacularly. 

"Let's eat, shall we?", I asked to soften the atmosphere.

We sat down and started eating our lunch. Serena had brought some pastries with her, which everyone enjoyed, with Bonnie especially liking the cupcakes. Suddenly, I saw an unfamiliar Pokémon jump out of Serena's bag. It was a purple cloaked Pokémon, with red gemstones on its neck and a head that resembled an old Halloween witch hat.

"Serena, what is that?", Bonnie asked, pointing to the same Pokémon.

"Oh, that's Mismagius.", she replied.

"While we're at it, how about you two show us the Pokémon you have?", I requested.

"Sure!", Ash responded with excitement, getting the Pokéballs in his bag.

Out came a large beetle with a horn he called Heracross, an owl-like Pokémon called Rowlet, a swift and agile bird known as Swellow, a red crocodilian Pokémon called Krookodile, and a Pokémon very much familiar to Korrina.

"Wow, you have a Lucario too?", she asked excitedly.

Ash simply nodded in approval, and I gestured to Serena to show us her Pokémon.

"Well, here they are!", she excitedly said.

Serena's POV 

I smiled as I let my Pokémon out. Pikachu, who disliked being in a Pokéball, had just been inside my bag the whole time, so she quickly went out. I also let Spheal out, who immediately rolled up to Bonnie and jumped on her side of the table. Finally, I let out my old Pokémon: Delphox, Pancham, and Sylveon. Sylveon in particular seemed very interested in Ash's Lucario, running up shortly after getting out and speaking with him. Pancham, meanwhile, went to Bonnie's side and tried to outdo Spheal, with everyone laughing at their competitiveness. 

"Seems like you caught a few more Pokémon, huh, Serena?", Ash said while scratching his nose.

"Yeah, I did.", I replied, turning my head around to hide myself blushing.

"I just had an idea!!!", Clemont suddenly shouted, raising his fist into the air.

"Oh yeah, what is it?", I asked.

"How about we take a walk, you know, just like old times.", he responded.

"That's a great idea!", Ash said excitedly.

Clemont's POV 

"Let's go then!", Bonnie yelled out.

As she approached the door, a knock was suddenly heard. As she opened the door, a familiar face popped up.

"Oh, hi, Clemont. Have you fixed the camera yet? I kinda need it for tomorrow.", Trevor asked.

"Oh yeah, give me a second.", I said as I got it from the shelf.

"Thanks!", he told me as I gave it to him. "Looks like you're going somewhere.", he added.

"Yeah, we're going to take a walk.", I responded.
