Serena's POV y

I woke up earlier than usual to the sound of knocking on the door. I went out of bed and checked if anyone was awake. I quickly realized that I was the only one there, so I opened the door to see who was knocking.

"Hello, you have a delivery.", the mailman said.

He gave me a box and made me sign a form before he left. I wondered what the box contained, but I tried to wait until the others woke up. However, my curiosity was too much, so I quickly grabbed the box cutters lying on the table and started opening the package. I found some letters wrapped in a smaller box inside, with me deciding to read it.

To who may be reading this,

Please inform Kalos Queen Serena that she is invited to the dance which will be hosted by Monsieur Pierre on Friday, and that she is required to bring a partner to the event.

Respectfully,
Germaine, Monsieur Pierre's assistant

I screamed inside. "Now's my chance.", I thought. I have to....no, I need to ask Ash. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I have to tell him now. Friday's only three days away.

I raced out of the hotel, silently pleading that he would accept. All those years ago, I'd wanted to dance with him, but I wasn't able to. Now, there was nothing stopping me. Suddenly, I remembered something that stopped me in my tracks.

The Gym's reopening is today.

I raced back to my hotel room and quickly put on some clothes I thought would be suitable. I looked at the mirror and felt something was missing. Sylveon quickly went up to me, giving me something she thought would complement my dress.

The blue ribbon.

My eyes widened. "Had Sylveon known about my feelings?", I thought. The Intertwining Pokémon tilted her head, seemingly saying yes. I hugged Sylveon, with her wrapping her feelers around me.

I went downstairs, with the memories with Ash flooding my mind. "I won't ever let him go.", I told myself. If I had a chance now, I would take it.

Clemont's POV

I woke up at 8:00 a.m., exhausted. After we got home, I'd spent the night arranging the decorations in the Gym. It was reopening day today, after all. I looked to my right to see Korrina. She'd helped me fix the ornaments last night, and she seemed equally as tired, still fast asleep. I pushed away a stray wisp of hair that was on her face. "She looks so cute when she's sleeping.", I thought, smiling. Even though I needed help, I hesitated to wake her up. She slowly stirred, bringing her arm from the other side and putting it on top of my chest. She slowly opened her eyes, looking as adorable as ever.

"Good morning, love.", I greeted with a smile.

"Good morning too.", she greeted back before kissing me.

"Let's go have breakfast."

"That...would be nice.", she said as she put her finger on my nose.

We went downstairs into the kitchen. I got some bread and some other fillings to make our breakfast. I went out to Korrina in the dining room, giving her a ham and cheese sandwich.

"This is really good, you know. I'm jealous, you're better at cooking than me.", Korrina said, pretending to be angry.

"Glad you like it. Don't  worry, I'll teach you sometime.", I said before I kissed her on the cheek, causing her to blush slightly.

After we finished breakfast, I started cooking the food that was going to be served at the reopening party. I'd made some yesterday, so I just had to reheat those. Korrina, meanwhile, started arranging the decorations she hadn't put yesterday.
