I follow her downstairs and into the kitchen where her friends are and It's like she knows I'm still behind her because she walks right up to Odessa and kisses her. Turning it into a full on makeout session. It hurts but for some reason I can't look away. Part of me feels like I deserve this.

Eventually she turns her around so she's facing my direction instead of Odessa and locks eyes with me as she continues. That, is enough for me to finally turn around and walk away.

I push past the crowd of people trying to hold in my tears as much as I can and look for Kelsey. I finally find her over where we were before and get her attention. She turns around, sees me and smiles.

"Hey! How'd it go?!" She studies my face some more and sees I'm about to cry and immediatly pulls me into a hug. "Can we leave? Please". I say while attempting to hold back my tears. She pulls away and looks at me, "Yes, of course. Cmon lets go outside" She takes my hand, and we make our way through the crowd of people once again, finally reaching the front door a few minutes later and stepping outside.

Once we get far enough away from people we stop and she lets go of my hand. She looks at me and I just stand there looking at the ground.

"Abby, what happened?" She asks softly. I shake my head, tears in my eyes.

"It's okay. It's gonna be okay" She hugs me once again and I take out my phone to call the driver.

He said he'll be here in 15 minutes and we take a seat on the ground while we wait because I don't want to go back inside, and the porch has people on it.

We sit in silence for a couple of minutes before I finally decide to speak.

"She made out with Odessa right in front of me while looking straight at me" I mumble, not having the energy to talk any louder.

"What?" Kelsey looks at me with a look of confusion and anger. I just nod in response.

She starts to stand up and I grab her arm, pulling her back down. "please dont. It's done. She clearly wants nothing to do with me anymore. Lets just go home tomorrow and move on with our lives"

She sighs and lays her head on my shoulder. "I just hate seeing you so upset. I wish I could take all of your pain away because you're the last person to deserve it".

"You do. Everyday" I lay my head on top of hers.

After a little bit, the driver pulls up to us and we get into the car and head back to the house.

Once we arrive, we thank him and go inside quietly, careful not to wake Maggie and Patrick. We head up to our room and get ready for bed in silence.

"Goodnight" I say quietly.

"Goodnight. I love you" She responds.

"I love you too" I sniffle.

The next day I wake up late. Well, late for me anyway, it's around 12pm. Kelsey is already awake and, on her phone, scrolling through social media. "Morning sunshine" She smiles at me. "Good morning" I return the smile.

"I just ordered us some breakfast and I even asked Maggie and Patrick if they would like anything, but they declined so it's just us dining this morning"

"Thank you" I smile once again. She really is the best friend I could ever have.

I unplug my phone from the charger and check my social media as I wake up a bit.
