Chapter 37

Kyler's POV.

February 17, 2019

I was having a great morning. I had just gotten off a call with Bella who was back in New York and we talked about my upcoming visit to the city since I had some scheduled shoots there for a few brands. I got some music done and while I was in the process of writing a new song for the album, I got a call from Khloe, one that I wasn't expecting. As soon as I heard her sniffling, I grabbed my stuff and drove straight over to her house, not even minding that I was in my pajamas and a sweatshirt.

Right when I got to her house, I opened the door with my spare key and went to find True and Khloe, making sure they were both okay. I found True with the nanny in the living room, so I grabbed her and told the nanny it was okay to leave for the day, making sure that I would pay her for the inconvenience. With True in my arms, I searched the entire house until I found her in the backyard, crying by the pool, with her phone in her hand.

I sat behind her on the pool chair, cuddling True in my arms, as I put my hand softly on her back and rubbed it slowly as she wept out loud in her hands. I kept rubbing her back as True fell asleep in my arms until I decided to scooch closer to her and hugged her from behind, my free arm pulling her head to my shoulder, comforting her as much as I could.

KYLER: "I've got you, I'm here." I say softly as she clings herself to my body, her arms going around my shoulders. "Let's go inside, okay?"

I stood her up slowly, letting her hold my arm as I took us to her room, ignoring the calls from both our phones. I led her to the bed and let her get under the covers, putting True right next to her and sitting myself on the other side of True.

KYLER: "Do you want me to tell them to leave you alone for now?" I ask softly as I look over the missed calls and messages on her phone.

After seeing her nod, I open up her messages and hop to the family chat.

Kar-Jen Krew

Khlo-Money:

Hey, it's Kyler

I've got her for now so no need to worry

She just wants to be alone for now

Momager:

Make sure she doesn't look at the news and stuff for now

Let her just take it in while I do some damage control

Kim:

Let her know that we are here for her for whatever she needs

I'll keep my phone on me if you need to switch out

Kourt:

I hope you guys are doing okay

He's not worth crying over after all this shit

Little Ky:

Jordyn never told me about this, I swear

I didn't know

I'm sorry...

Kenny:

We are all heading to mom's to talk about this if she's willing to talk

I responded to all their messages and decided to just stay for the night to take care of both of them, knowing that I wouldn't want to be left alone after news like this.
