The sun in my eyes
and a flower in my hair.
Barefoot on green grass,
chasing the breeze, and it got me singin',
oh sweet life o' mine.Late night car drives
and the radio playing.
Passing street lights,
eyes halfway closed, and it got me singin',
oh sweet life o' mine.Walking home in the rain
on a Friday noon.
Umbrella open,
shoes already wet,and it got me singin',
oh sweet life o' mine.A bottle of coke
and a pop song playing.
The hairbrush's my mic,
the couch is my stage, and it got me singin',
oh sweet life o' mine.Head down in distress
when times get rough.
Worries are whispering,
problems are screaming. And yet it gets me singin',
oh sweet life o' mine.'Cause I know,
that even the darkest day
only ever lasts twenty-four hours. So you still see me singin':
Oh sweet life o' mine. These words got me singin',
oh sweet life o' mine.Don't worry
if you can't change things.
Don't worry
if you can change things.Just keep on singin':
Oh sweet life o' mine.Life's sweet, so keep singin':
Oh, sweet life o' mine.
