"So, what's going on with you guys? Why are we so teary?" Itachi asked as he sat the cake on the counter. Turning around to see Sasuke glaring at him while Naruto wiped his tears from laughter. "Who died?" He waited for an answer with a big stupid smile on his face, that almost caused Naruto another wave of hysterical laughter. "What? Can a guy not eat an ice cream cake? The hell is this environmental insanity." He rolled his eyes before grabbing himself a plate and sitting down.

"Sit down, you people. Enjoy a good meal with the big bad Itachi Uchiha while he's in the mood." Itachi gave a nod of approval before he grabbed a spoon.

"Sasuke, just sit down." Naruto chuckled before taking a seat. He gave him a smile before pulling out a chair for him, which Sasuke sat on after no further consideration. "So, why did the 'big bad Itachi Uchiha' get a cake? Especially a strawberry flavored cake?" Naruto laughed as he looked at the half melted cake that had horrible writing on it.

"Taste it, it's really sweet. I made it myself." Itachi gave an encouraging smile. Sasuke suspiciously looked between the cake and his elder brother.

Naruto took a spoonful of the cake and stuffed it in his mouth before he paused. He almost choked as he started to swallow it. "It tastes really good!" He gave a big smile, as tears almost started to fall down his eyes. "I'm just crying cause it's really good, y'know!"

"What the hell? This tastes like shit!" Sasuke immediately got up and spat out the ice cream disaster in the trash before rinsing out his mouth. "How did you manage to fuck up something as simple as ice cream?" Sasuke stared at Itachi, who stared at Naruto, who was staring at him with a look of horror.

"What are you saying, Sasuke? This is really good!" Naruto swallowed without chewing any further. He turned his head back to find Itachi staring at his brother. "Trust me, it's good. Here I'll even take another bite—" The second he put it in his mouth, he got up and ran to the bathroom.

"It can't be that bad." Itachi took a bite and the look of horror on his face was impossible to describe. He gagged and almost threw up in the trashcan.

"You put salt instead of sugar, idiot." Sasuke groaned in disappointment. Itachi was the reason the younger raven had trust issues. Now, thanks to him, he couldn't see ice cream the same.

"I'll make another one before the night comes." Itachi spoke. He was determined to make Sasuke a cake before they both left for the meeting.

"No need. I don't plan on getting food poisoning before the trip." Sasuke begrudgingly said in a politer tone, which didn't help Itachi's case.

"I better get going if otherwise it might take too long to make." Itachi quickly gathered everything (except the cake) and rushed out the door.

"Itachi!" Sasuke shouted while Itachi slammed the door on his face. In fury, he took that cake and threw it where it belonged, the trash. He couldn't believe that this stupid cake was the reason he couldn't finish his confession to Naruto.

Speaking of Naruto, who still hadn't returned, Sasuke insisted on looking for him and found himself hovering over the blond who was cleaning out his mouth. Maybe the soggy noodles, and the salty cake was not a good idea.

He leaned on the doorway, crossing his arms. "Sorry about him, he's a fucking idiot." Sasuke rolled his eyes, before fixing his gaze on the blond.

"It's alright, at least he tried to do something nice for you." Naruto grinned as he dried his face.

Sasuke stood straight, lazily walking over to the kitchen. "Well, there's some leftovers from lunch, I'll heat them up for you."

Honestly, the blond had lost his appetite after that cake. But, as much as he'd hate to admit, Sasuke's cooking was fabulous. A man can only be so good at cooking without any special training, but Sasuke had perfected that without trying. Maybe he would make a good housewife or something, he could definitely imagine the raven in a pink apron while he cooked for his wife and children. It was a funny sight.
