A knock from the door--knock, knock, knock--Hyewon pushes the door and stands inside the room. The faint scent of her perfume quickly stirs the familiar air of the room. A few sniffs invite him to raise his head up to the person existing after his table. She wears the same smile she has everyday ever since the night they shared a meal together, quite different from her first days in the firm.

"Mr. Gong? You were calling for me?" Soft words coming from her, a complete contrast of people's impression of her ever since the department of the group from existence in the industry.

"I do. It's your first experience in this field, right?" A nod along with a short hum answers his interrogatory sentence. "Then I can safely assume that you are not familiar with attorneys handling cases. So, why don't we start with the basics. Remember the case that I asked you to search for similar precedent cases?"

"Yeah, why?" Her eyes glow with genuine curiosity, recalling the familiar task given to her a few days ago.

"We have a settlement with the opposing team, a meeting between the two sides."

"When did that happen? How come I didn't know that you were going to meet the opposing side?" Disdain, something she doesn't expect she'll feel. Like a stab in her heart, her supposed to be the work in the first place passed by her without her even noticing.

Yongwoo catches up to her shift of emotion, a small grin escapes his lips and a chuckle, he refuses to be seen by her by looking down at his table. It is short and Hyewon didn't even notice he did a sort. Upon raising his head, he's back with his natural demeanor of nonchalance, the serious aura he always carries with him.

"I had a short conversation with the other party's attorney not long ago, probably two days from now. Anyway, I wish for you to be by my side in this specialized meeting, not only because you are now officially my secretary but also for you to learn more about a thing or two in this field."

A beam of enjoyment bursts through her. "REALLY?" An uncontrollable smile keeps pestering on her face, contagious enough to make the other person in the room feel the aura emitting from her. He's dazed for a second before he brings himself back.

"Yes, Kang Hyewon-ssi." He stands up from his seat, rushing towards his belongings that he brings with him every time he is to leave the firm. Hyewon stands in her place, unfazed and frozen like, not even daring to move an inch. "You should bring your things that are necessary for you."

"Ah, yeah." With haste she left the room and proceeded towards her room.

Picking her bag, one by one checking the items inside, ensuring that what she needs are all intact and is with her especially that she has to leave the firm for an important meeting. A few seconds after tending her business, Yongwoo shows himself, a coat in his arm and a briefcase on the other. A short gaze from one another and a nod from him.

"You ready?" His question is returned with a warm smile from her.

Yongwoo leaves the office with Hyewon following him from behind, his shoes clapping with the tiles on the floor, the usual noise that greets everyone's ear every time someone walks in their firm. The casual behavior of him made everyone in the firm look at them as they left the place, although Hyewon is a celebrity beside him she feels little because of the aura he holds.

"You guys leaving?" One interrupts, as the two glances at the owner of the voice, Taeyeob, who just left his office as well while sipping some coffee in his cup.

"Yeah." Yongwoo simply replies, Hyewon on his side is staring at him.

"Have a safe trip then."
