I wake up earlier than usual this morning so I didn't have to rush getting ready. It's Friday and Jacks birthday is this weekend so maybe this will be a good day! I get dressed and head downstairs. I see my mom already up and cooking everyone's breakfast.
"Thank you mom!"
"You're welcome, I made everyone oatmeal with their preferred toppings!"
"Ill bring it with me, Mimi should be done in a few"
My dad gets up and heads to the kitchen. It had been almost two weeks and he still is living at home. Jobless. Unemployed. No income. And yet still has the nerve to yell at everyone.
He sat down and started to eat his oatmeal. Not a word. I got up and left.
I headed to the car, got in, waited for Mimi, then we headed to school. We headed to our meetup spot in the cafeteria and Nick, Matt and Chris were already there.
"Heyy" Mimi says while we walk over. We all greeted one another. I sat next to Matt and Nick and on the other side Mimi and Chris were sitting together. Oh here comes Jack!
"Hey Bella! This weekend I'm having my birthday at the trampoline park this weekend. Would you like to come?"
"Hell yeah! Wouldn't miss it!"
He turned to me.
"Niola you should come to. I've heard a lot about you and you seem fun!"
"Oh for sure!"

It was now 3rd period. Literally nothing's been happening all day. I have yet to have a single assignment so I've been primarily on my phone or talking with friends. THANKFULLY THO ITS 3RD PERIOD SOMETHING ALWAYS HAPPENS IN THIS CLASS!!
"Alright today is the final day for this project! You and your group should've finished a week ago but this class is extremely behind. Get to work and no slacking."
"Whats up his ass today" Lucas already started with his jokes.
"Excuse me?"
"Oh shit I meant my friend sorry dude"
"No. Writeup for you."
"Nice one." Ryley side eyed him.
"Don't start acting like your sister you're supposed to be the nice one"
"Im right here idiot." Reagan slapped his head. Matt and I laughed.
"What the fuck dude"
Reagan shrugged.
"Oh yea did you get invited to Jacks birthday thing?" Lucas looked over to me.
"Yea! I'm so excited!"
"It'll be fun if we don't get kicked out" Lucas and Matt started laughing. Ryley, Reagan and I looked at each other confused.
"Do you have any idea why they're laughing so hard?" Reagan asked me.
"Have zero clue actually but I hope the story is worth the wait"
"You're right" Ryley and I laughed.
Finally Matt and Lucas were able to breathe again.
"Basically Matt and I went to the trampoline park, which mind you, this was like 8th grade so we were incredibly annoying. Anyway it was us and like 15 other kids and we all had gotten little blow up dinosaur costumes and came to the trampoline park and we were BURYING kids in dodgeball and on the trampolines in general. Then we got kicked out and raided the mall but what makes it funnier is that we were small ass kids too with zero parents" As he concluded the story we all laughed but they laughed 10 times harder. They were laughing so hard to the point where they almost needed medical attention.
"Oh my word. It was funny but not that funny" Reagan commented and Ryley and I started laughing.
"That doesn't sound like work over there." The teacher gotten up and walked over to our group.
"Quit the laughing you guys are behind."
"Can I got to the bathroom?"
"Make a pass."
I got my phone and made a pass to the bathroom.
As I was leaving the bathroom I saw Thomas.
"What's up!"
"Oh hey!"
We started walking together.
"Where are you headed?"
"Im just walking around at this point I have a test and I don't want to do it" He complained and I laughed.
"Ive got a group project but can I join you?"
"Duh" We both laughed and wandered the school.
