| At Least I Have You |

It was around 1 pm on the seventh day here.
"Hey I'm bored let's do somethinggg!!" Reagan whined in the kitchen.
From the kitchen I could see Matt was on the couch by himself. He was sort of lying down while on his phone but he looked exhausted. I feel bad.

I walked over and sat next to him, he put his phone down and spoke, "I promise you I'm fine Silv don't worry"
"You look exhausted I feel bad"
"I'm offended" He frowned as a joke.
"I'm serious" I hit his arm gently.
"Hey?! I am too?!?"
I didn't say anything to that but instead I just looked at him. He was at first making a joke of it all but then he looked at me with a different expression. His eyebrows were of sorrow but he had a smile on that was comforting to see.
"It's not your fault" He sat up to kiss me.
"I love you"
"I love you more"
It was reassuring but I still feel incredibly guilty. I haven't said anything to Thomas yet and I know I have to just, how?

"You guys wanna go out for lunch? I really really want Canes" Mimi asked and Matt and I looked to the kitchen to hear the rest.
"Trust me we know" Nick laughed.
"Do you want to go?" I asked Matt.
"Nah I could use a good nap"
"I-"
"What about you lovebirds" Lucas pointed to us.
"I don't know why you're talking. You and Reagan are one of the new lovebirds"
"STOP NAI KILL YOURSELF" Reagan said as a joke and of course I didn't expect her to know the power of those words. Nobody does. Nobody other than Matt and Mimi that is.
Mimi shoved her while walking passed, "Watch yourself"
"HOW'D YOU EVEN HEAR ME?!" I yelled back. Don't want to cause a scene so I'll joke along.
"Count your days Nai"
"HEY?!"
Lucas walked away to Reagan but Matt turned to me.
"What were you going to say?"
"Oh nothing nevermind"

Thomas' pov

We left the house and decided to walk. Everyone was here except one person.
"Matt's not coming?" I asked Nai.
"Nah he barely got sleep last night"
"Oh damn"
"Yup" What? What a dry response. Ever since last night she's been weird.
"Did I do something?"
"What?"
I let everyone around pass us into the Canes before I continued the conversation. I needed to confront her.
"You haven't really talked to me at all since last night and just now when I tried to make conversation you shut it down"
"Nai what do you want to eat?" Mimi interrupted and she left to walk up without even saying anything. What the fuck.

"Something tells me she doesn't want to talk but ay! That's just me!" Lucas started as he stood next to me.
"What"
"She left without answering, that's the biggest most obvious answer ever"
"You're switching up on me Lukie Pookie"
"Do you like her?"
"Huh- Wha-? No. Why"
"Alright I'm just gonna take that as a yes"
"I don't"
"Tell that to you and everyone else on this trip"
"Why would you care"
"Matt's my best friend" He shrugged then left. Okay is there something in the air because now the two people I was closest with clearly do not like me right now. Did Matt say something?

Nais pov

"You can't be at the beach with all our friends and be on your phone the whole time Nai Nai"
"Sorry I'm worried about Eli"
"Why? What's wrong?"
"He hasn't answered his phone for four hours now"
"Maybe he's busy having fun with his friends!"
"I told him though to periodically check his phone."
"He's definitely just with friends and just got caught up with them. Check his location?"
"It says he's home"
"Maybe he's napping!"
I didn't respond, I kept staring at my phone.
"I'll text Noah to check on him how about that?" She looked at me trying to ease my concern.
"Thank you"
"Now let's go eat!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me.

Matts pov

I woke up and heard everyone walking in with bags. I also heard familiar footsteps walking up to the room.
"I brought you back something sweetie!" Nick walked in.
"Uhm thanks weirdo" I turned my head back to look at him.
"Get up I miss my Matty bear"
"That's insane" I did though sit up. I napped for a good 2 and a half hours, I feel pretty good.
"Oh yea what happened with Thomas because Nai didn't seem like she wanted to talk to him and Lucas was practically pressing him" Nick randomly spilled to me.
"What?"
"So what happened...?"
"I couldn't sleep last night because of the whole thing and now Silv thinks it's her fault"
"I will literally go beat a bitch up right now. Thomas is cool and all but why is he so flirty with her and how does she not even notice?"
"This is why I didn't tell you respectfully. I love you though"
"Well... I think Thomas is fun and a good friend to Nai but he seems possessive. Also, they met by him literally hitting on her and Mimi."
"He was drunk"
"Drunk thoughts and honest thoughts"
Well I guess he isn't wrong.
"Where's Silv?"
"I think outside"
