"NAIIII!!" My brother yelled from the kitchen. It was his 15th birthday.
"Come on down for your brother's birthday breakfast!" My mom had always done this tradition. The birthday kid gets their special birthday breakfast.

I get dressed and ready and head downstairs to my mom and brother.
"Happy Birthday best friend!!" I handed him my gift.
"Awesome thanks!!"
"You know who else got you a gift?"
"Who??" Elijah looked confused.
"Matt?" My mom asked. I nodded.
"Oh honey he didn't have to"
"I said the same thing but he insisted" I shrugged.
A few hours went by and I hear a knock on the door. I go and answer it.
"Hey! I got a special delivery!" Matt says walking in.
"Hey!" Elijah ran from the couch to greet him.
"Here ya go" Matt hands over the gift.
"THANK YOU DUDE!" He gave him a hug.
"You really didn't have to you know" My mom wanted to reassure Matt.
"It's good he deserves it" He smiled.
Matt and I went up to my room and hung out a bit. Suddenly he asked something that caught me off guard.
"How come you never mention anything about your dad? If you don't mind me asking" He looked at me and I tried to think of an answer.
"You don't have to answer Silv. I'm sorry I brought it up"
"No it's fine. He's never really home but I like when he's gone. When he is home all he does is fight with my mom all day and night so it's like a vacation when he's away"
"Im so sorry" He said concerningly.
"Don't be we're all good. He just yells not a big deal."

It's been a few weeks. Its now early February. Since the New York City group trip and my brother's birthday, Matt and I have hung out a lot but still arent together. I know Chris and Bellamy have too but same with them they also aren't together. Oh, speaking of Bellamy texted.
