It's a week later since Jacks birthday party and I walk into my bio class with Chris.
"You're not gonna believe it Bella" Olive says her voice with dread.
"what happen?!"
"We have to do a project that's for basically most of are grade to pass. It's a group project so I don't know why she's acting this way?" Jack says looking at Olive
"Take your seats I'm going to explain the project so listen up."
The teacher explains what we're supposed to do and we split the work between us evenly. Although Olive was dead asleep during everything he had said.
"Hey wanna come with me to get stuff after school?" Jack whispers over to me
"Can't I got volleyball with Nai today" I whisper back
"I have baseball so we'll get done around the same time"
"Oh then yeah why not I'll tell Nai I'm riding with you"
"Sounds good to me"
"What y'all whispering about?" Chris asks
"Oh we were going-" Jack cuts me off
"Just the project" Jack smiles at Chris

Me and Nai get to practice and end up finishing a little longer than expected. It was my turn to serve the ball when I see Jack, Marcus, and Alex walk into the gym. The ball comes back to my side over the net so I pass to Nai and we get the winning point.
"Great save you too! Everyone can go pack up" the couch yells
"We ate the fuck up bitches" Nai says smiling at me as we packed are bags

We walked to the boys, Marcus and Alex were hitting on two girls towards the side of the gym.
"Let's go I'm low key starving" Jack says in a wining voice
"Hey Nai!" He also says
"She needs to be home by 8 on the dot I'll be waiting" Nai says trying to hold a straight face. I'm surprised she could hold it.
"Yes mam of course" he says saluting
"I can't with both of you" I start to laugh
"Hey Mimi and Nai" Alex says walking over
"Hey I gotta go now Elijah needs me peace out guys!" She runs out the gym
"Oh is this a date?" Marcus points to me and Jack
"Nope project" Jack replies
"Well doesn't that suck" Alex says and Jack quickly steps on his shoes.
"We'll head out! Enjoy your time!" Marcus says leading Alex out the door
"Alright let's go your majesty"
"Stop calling me that"
"Nah ever sense Chris called you a princess on the first day I met you how could I not" he says cracking up
"Yeah yeah, where you wanna eat?"
"I feel like that's obvious now" he says smirking
"OH MY GOD YES"
"Only the best" he says shrugging
