Pete had a sharp intake of breath as he saw his future wife walking towards him. He didn't even know her name, but she was his wife already.
The way she moves, she would be like no other lover. She was wooing Pete with her walk and how she glanced at him.
"Hi." Pete said.
"Hello." She smiled. Her long blonde hair blew behind her in the breeze. Her big green eyes widened at him.
"My name is Pete." He said, holding his hand out.
"Sadie." She replied, shaking his hand. The way Sadie looked at him and smiled, like she knew he would need no other lover than her. How did he know this when they had just met? He had no clue.
After that initial coffee meet-up, Pete and Sadie shared many dates, falling in love.
Pete had never felt this way about anyone. He was imagining a future with Sadie. That made his heart swell with love for her more and more.
Fall Out Boy had a concert. Pete invited Sadie along. Sadie texted to let Pete know she had arrived.
"Hey, babe." Pete said.
"Hi." Sadie said really quietly. Pete gave her her backstage passes.
"Thank you, Pete." Sadie bowed her head down. Pete furrowed his brow in concern.
"What's wrong, babe?" He asked.
"I er, I got a message from someone on Instagram. They said that they were your girlfriend, and that I had better back the fuck off of you." Sadies lip trembled.
"Hey," Pete said gently and pulled Sadie to him. "I love you, Sadie. I love your smile, I love the way you make me feel. I love thinking about you, and I instantly smile. Whoever this person is is somebody who has hate and jealousy in their heart. They can't have me, so no one else can." Pete lifted Sadies chin to look at him. He looked into her eyes. "I love you, Sadie."
"I love you, Pete." Sadie replied, and they kissed gently.
"Ok, let's go to the dressing rooms." They wandered along the corridor hand in hand and reached the dressing rooms. There was a lot of noise. Pete opened the door, and Panic! At The Disco were there, along with Twenty One Pilots. There was music and laughing. Pizza was also being eaten.
Everybody greeted Pete and Sadie. Sarah, Brendons' wife, got up and introduced herself.
Pete grabbed some pizza for himself and Sadie. They sat down and ate. Pete nudged her, and she nudged him back, smiling. Pete winked at her.
He thinks of her and the things she shows him. Pete knows that Sadie is his end game. He tells Patrick and Brendon this all the time.
"When are you gonna propose?" Brendon asks.
"It's too soon, isn't it?" Pete asks.
"Nah. There's no hard or fast rule. I knew with Sarah straightaway. If it hadn't been for albums and tours, I would have married her the day we met." Brendon replied, sipping his beer from a bottle.
"Wow." Pete breathed out.
"What is it about her that makes you think she's your end game?" Patrick asked.
"Patrick, I don't know. I can't put it into words. She's beautiful, funny, intelligent. She is so much more articulate than I could ever be. Sadie is the half of me that I have been missing. It's just...I...I I don't, I can't explain very well . But it's something. Yea, it's something alright."
Patrick whistled.
"What?" Pete asked.
"You have got it bad, Pete." Patrick replied.
"Yea. I have never seen you like this before, ever." Brendon chipped in.
"I know, I don't want to leave her now or ever."
Patrick and Brendon looked at each other, then Pete. Yep, their friend was in love. And he was in deep.
