The first thing Kei felt was the hard ground beneath her. She groaned, rolling onto her side, her head spinning.

"Ignis," she murmured, forcing her eyes open.

A loud BANG and the sound of screeching tires jolted her fully awake. Police sirens wailed in the distance, accompanied by rapid gunfire.

"What the..." Kei muttered, sitting up.

Ignis lay a few feet away, groaning as she pushed herself up. "What hit us?"

"More like... where are we?" Kei said, scanning their surroundings. They were in the middle of a bustling urban street, skyscrapers towering above them.

A car sped past, followed by several police cruisers. Gunshots rang out, and Kei instinctively raised her sword.

"Looks like trouble," Ignis said, flames flickering at her fingertips.

"Stay back," Kei warned.

Before they could act, a shadow swooped down from above. A man in a dark hood and a sleek white cape landed gracefully in front of them, his crescent-shaped weapon drawn.

"You're not from around here, are you?" the man said, his voice calm but cautious.

Kei and Ignis exchanged a glance.

"And you are?" Kei asked, gripping her sword tighter.

"Moon Knight," he replied. "And if you're not careful, you're about to become a bigger problem than the one we're already dealing with."

"Care to explain?" Ignis shot back, her flames intensifying.

"Later," Moon Knight said, his gaze snapping to the approaching chaos. "First, we deal with them."

Kei followed his line of sight and saw a group of masked criminals firing at the police. Above them, a shadowy figure loomed—Raven, her eyes glowing ominously as she encased the criminals in dark tendrils of energy.

"Kei," Ignis said, smirking. "I think I like this place already."
