"What's wrong, Sammer?" Mark called to his little grayish-grey cat. The plump feline with an indescribable fur color ran up to him, rubbing his head against his bare ankles and purring softly in joy at his homecoming. For the first time that day, a slight smile spread across his usually stern face as he stroked the cat's soft fur.

Deep down, Mark still felt like he was emotionally falling apart into tiny pieces. The indescribable things were lodged firmly in his chest as if they were waiting to one day explode, which might very well mark the end of all these crazy stories. But that end might come sooner than expected. Patt let out a heavy sigh, temporarily shaking off the troubling thoughts.

"Are you hungry? Come here, little fatty." He picked up the cat and set his bag on the table before carrying the heavy feline into the kitchen and pouring some kibble onto his plate. Snow simply sniffed it and then turned away, clearly showing his owner that he was not satisfied with the food. The cat rubbed against his leg but still refused to eat.

"Okay, I know it's not tasty, but at you have to eat for now. I'll get you some salmon tomorrow, okay?" He said to the cat, who did not lick the food and looked at him with dissatisfied eyes. He meowed softly and then turned his face away from his own bowl of kibble.

"Come on, eat. I don't want to go anywhere today. I've had a tough day, yeah?" Mark muttered as he scratched Sammer's ear, then reluctantly let the cat nibble on the food before walking over to open the balcony door and let in some fresh air. The sounds of cars and various noises from outside made Mark sigh again.

At the moment, he didn't know what to do with himself, as he'd never come home this early before. He usually devoted his time to work and remained a shadow beside Vee until late at night.. Mark closed his eyes, deeply contemplating his search for a new job. He didn't want to let emotions dictate such an important decision, but it all depended on how much more he could tolerate.

Vee Vivis was playing a game, a game that involved Theeranai. Although Vee never explicitly said that there was any serious problem with Theeranai, Mark could guess that this was probably one of those love situations. That person had to be very important to Vee, enough to cause her to hate his cousin so much. To Vee, Theeranai might be a suitable partner, but in Mark's eyes, Theeranai was not a bad person. Since their initial casual meetings at events, having short conversations, Theeranai had recently sought more opportunities to talk to him, becoming something more. However, Mark had not yet fully opened his heart. It's not that Vee actually had feelings for him. Mark may not have been the brightest, but he wasn't so dumb that he was blind to the truth. What mattered most was that Vee already had Kimhan. So it was just a game, a desire to win.

After showering and getting dressed, Mark was dressed in shorts and a tight black shirt to lounge around the house. As he absentmindedly dried his hair, the doorbell rang. He walked to the door, startled by the visitor he saw through the peephole.

Vee stood outside with his arms crossed, his handsome face that never tired his eyes appearing unexpectedly. Vee had never come to his room... ever. What wind had brought him here?

Mark remained curious and decided to let the other in, as he was in no mood to argue. Vee waited in great anticipation, checking his watch, which was approaching seven in the afternoon.

After about two minutes, Mark opened the door with a questioning look, but before he could react, the taller man walked past him and entered the room without regard for manners or an invitation.

"Close the door." Vee ordered, waving his hand casually as if he owned the place.

Mark eyed him suspiciously. "What... is it that you want?" Patt's voice was flat but full of suspicion.
