After being left alone in the restaurant, Thiti was furious and dissatisfied with Vee, who was dumb, hard to please, power hungry, and usually bossy. But what bothered Thiti the most was that Vee wouldn't let him join the conversation with Mr. JZ. He had no idea how far their argument had gone. Thiti picked up his phone to call the person he missed, but no matter how many times he called, there was no sign that the other party would pick up. The irritation of work was now compounded by the frustration of his lover, pushing Thiti closer to his boiling point. It was over ten minutes before the other party called back.

"Why didn't you pick up the phone? Who are you with?" As soon as the other party called back, Thiti immediately expressed his discontent.

"I was taking a shower. I'm sorry." The soft, sweet voice on the other end of the line did nothing to improve Thiti's mood. Knowing his boyfriend's habits only made him more suspicious. There had been many times that he had caught the man cheating on him, and lately, Thiti was becoming more and more distrustful of his lover.

"Are you really taking a shower? Video call me now. I want to see."

"Now?" The voice on the other end of the line sounded hesitant. The more the other party hesitated, the less willing Thiti was to back out.

"Yes, right now. Or can't you? Why? Are you with someone else?"

"Oh, dear, are you mad again? No, I'm really taking a shower."

"Then turn on the camera." Thiti insisted sternly.

"Okay." The other party turned on the camera, and the bare chest appeared on the screen. Not only that, but the camera also moved to show the background to satisfy Thiti.

"See? I told you I'm alone."

"That's okay then." Thiti's voice softened, and his expression stern as well. "Did you eat yet? What did you eat?"

"I just decided to eat and went back to my room."

"Was it okay?"

"The food here is decent, but it's annoying that he left me to eat alone."

"What's up with your boss?"

"He dumped me as soon as he saw his former secretary. He's infuriating. I've never met anyone so annoying. If he wasn't hot and rich, I doubt anyone would want to be around him."

"Huh? Did you meet there?" The person on the other end of the line looked puzzled and asked thoughtfully.

"Yeah, it was quite a coincidence. As soon as Vee saw him, he just got up and left. He left me to go back to the hotel alone. How rude."

"What was Mark doing? Do you know?"

"I'm not sure, but it seemed like he came with some friends."

"And about today's discussion, did you get anything out of it?"

"Not at all. He didn't let me participate and left me waiting outside for hours. It seemed like an important matter." Thiti said sincerely.

"And the documents?"

"I didn't see them. I kept them in the inside pocket of my jacket. But don't worry, I'll find a way to get the information." Thiti continued to reassure his boyfriend. He wouldn't let this trip go to waste without getting any information.

"This project is very important. I want it, too."

"I'll help you. You can trust me."

"I always trust you." The other side said sweetly. "Get some rest. You've been tired all day."

"You get enough rest, too. And don't leave, okay?"

"I won't."
