"Mark... what a surprise to find you here."

"Thee..." The unexpected encounter left Mark feeling awkward and unsure of how to act. Part of it was because things between him and Theeranai hadn't ended on good terms... Who would want to face the person they used to date with Vee sitting so close, practically breathing down their necks? And to make matters worse, these two couldn't stand each other. They despised each other to the core. It was best to keep them apart.

When Mark looked at the astonished Vee sitting there, he felt even more uncomfortable. Vee fierce expression was in stark contrast to his playful mood moments ago. And his hostile, piercing eyes clearly marked the other as an enemy... It was a disaster waiting to happen at this reunion.

"Hmph!" Vee growled with a smirk, his sharp gaze directed towards Mark, his displeasure clearly showing. Jealousy surged through him as Theeranai's name escaped the ashamed person's lips, igniting a firestorm in his heart. Seeing Mark's nervous look only made him want to jump on the table and punch that beautiful face once or twice.

"Woah! My beloved relative is here too, but he doesn't seem very happy. Oh, I heard that you not only lost your closest assistant, but you also missed out on a big business deal. That's kind of unfortunate, isn't it?" Theeranai clicked his tongue after speaking, deliberately provoking Vee, which seemed to work because Vee was now visibly furious.

"Get out of my sight." Vee glared at his most despised enemy, speaking slowly and clearly. If it weren't for the law, the scum standing before him would have died at his hands a long time ago.

"You're still so hot-headed. Maybe you should learn to calm down a little. I'm just greeting you as the family we are. Besides... Mark and I have known each other. It's only natural that we catch up when we see each other." Theeranai glanced at Mark with a flirtatious look that made him nervous.

"There's no need." Vee said, moving closer to Mark as if his body was acting on its own. Theeranai didn't waste Vee's possessiveness in his compartment, and the more Vee acted as if he owned Mark, the more jealous Theeranai became.

"Right, Mark?"

"...Yes." Mark answered Theeranai out of politeness, perhaps feeling guilty and indebted to him. He'd tried before, he'd tried to explore a relationship with the other man, but no matter what, he couldn't start something new when his heart was full of Vee and only Vee...

"See? I told you." Theeranai said, sitting across from the couple and calling for a waiter to serve drinks. Vee watched Theeranai's audacity with a calm face, but his eyes were ice cold with simmering anger. As much as he wanted to stand up and kick the man in the face, he forced himself to remain as calm as possible. He was curious to see what Theeranai, brazen enough to cause such a scene, wanted.

"Let me know your business and get lost." Vee's voice was low and icy, a dangerous sign Mark had been holding back for years. He knew all too well that it meant she was about to explode.

"Vee." Mark warned, gently touching his thick wrist.

Vee looked at him and regained some of his composure, but was still ready for a confrontation at any moment.

"I'm so jealous of you. Even after Mark quit, he still hangs around you, unwillingly. I just realized why he rejected me, it's because he had plans with you." Theeranai raised his glass in a snide toast, his demeanor as if he were congratulating the other man. Not only that, but he also gave him a reproachful look at their previous date.

Although Theeranai's face was expressionless, his words were filled with sarcasm, making Mark uncomfortable. He didn't want Vee to be misunderstood or slandered.
