"Wait! Please don't go!" I said and held her hand.
"I'm sorry. I can't stay." She began to cry. I held her ahdn tighter. "This is good bye, but only for now."
"Okay. Just stay safe." I begged. She nodded.

I opened my eyes to see it was morning. I rubbed my eyes. The black rose was in a vase. It was heathly again. I looked at it confused. I laid back onto my bed and looked up at the ceiling. I sighed. I went to the bathroom and messed with my hair. My reflection showed my face was somehow paler. The ring around my eyes were darkening. The scars on my body started to bleed
"The hell is going on with me?" I asked myself as I looked closer in the mirror. I shrugged it off and went back into the room. I shut the blinds and closed the curtains. It was dark in the room. Just like I wanted it to be. I grabbed the black rose and went to the kitchen. I put it by a window and put it in a small vase. Then I went back into my room.
Her dagger laid on my nightstand. I grabbed it and looked at it. I clentched the handle tighter. Then I felt something cold on my chest. I put my hand in my shirt and took it out. I looked at it. It was myhalf of the heart locket necklace I gave her. My eyes watered.
"I will get you back." I whispered to myself. "There has to be a way to get you back."
I was determined now. To find a way to get her back. I don't care what I have to do, I'll make sure she's safe and sound. I grabbed the book of magic I had and looked through it. Nothing about the Night lands. I became frustrated and threw the book at the wall.
"God damn it! Now I have to visit Gilda." I whisper yelled to myself. I put on a black hoodie and went to the door.
"Where are you going?" Mark asked me.
"I'm just gonna look for some books." I replied and went outside. I breathe in the fresh cold morning air. I put on some sunglasses as to hide my eyes. I had to walked there. I had to walk to the city. If I drove, I can't get to Gilda. I began walking towards the city. It took me ten minutes and people raomed the streets of LA. I kept my head down. A young girl, about 13 walked up to me.
"Hey! Your Markiplier! Can I get a picture?" She asked me.
"Sorry kid, but I'm not Markiplier. Now go back to your parents." I replied coldly and kept walking. She stared at me and walked away. "I hate going outside." I sighed. This always happens. People get excited that they think I'm my brother.
I crossed the street. The huge building stood over the people. I went inside. People were reading quietly to themselves. I walked past a table of kids reading and went to the cashier.
"Hello sir. How can I help you?" She asked me.
"I'm here to see Gilda." I said quietly. She let me into the back and inside a door. There were stairs. I walked down and she closed the door behind me. I continued down until I finally hit the bottom. A wooden door was the only thing blocking my way now. I knocked and the door opened.
"Dark! So good to see you!" Gilda smiled. Her voice scratchy and raspy.
I remained silent and she let me in. There was shelves apon shelves of books about magic, creatures, and dimensions. There was tables with potions and glass bottles. And humans say magic doesn't exist. If only they knew.
"So what do you need today?"she asked me.
"A book. About the Nightlands." I replied.
"Is this about that girl? That dark angel. Boy, was she a catch." Gilda laughed.
"Yeah." I said softly. Gilda looked through her shelf. Then pulled out a book. It had the symbol of the Night lands. The crescent moon.
"How much?" I asked her.
"Thirty." She said.
"How about 25?" I offered.
She shook her head. "Thirty take it or leave it."
"Fine." I sighed and gave her thirty dollars. She threw the book into my arms and counted the money. I left the small shop and out the library doors. I sighed and his the symbol of the book. Number one rule about magic. Keep it hidden from humans. Magicians already break those rules, but that's not my problem.
I walked home and opened the door. "Want some chicken?" Mark asked me as I stepped inside.
"No." I repkie and went into the room. I locked the door and placed the book on top of her desk. I moved the keyboard and mouse. Then I placed the deck lamp over the book's pages. I opened it and began looking. Then I found it. The page to get her back.

If ever banished and wished to return. One must make a sacrifice. Someone close to the victim. The sacrifice must cut the victim's first name into his or her skin. Then they must summon the portal to the Night lands. They have to throw themselves in. The portal will read the name on their flesh and throw out the victim. The sacrifice however, will not return unless the same procedure is done for them.

A sacrifice. Someone close. Its like the procedure was made for me. I'm willing to sacrifice myself for her. For her safety. For her happiness. For her life. I know she will disagree, but I have to. All I have to do is cut her name into my arm. Then have Mad summon the portal. Finally throw myself in.
I sighed. "I may never see her again if I do this, but then she will live a nightmare her whole immortal life. I have to do this."
I grabbed my own dagger and carved her name into my pale skin. Blood oozed out. I wiped it away and looked at her name. "Step one. Done."
All I have to do is convince Mad to summon the portal, but how? He's not gonna let me do it. None of them will do it. So I have to do it myself, but I don't know how to do magic. "Who does magic, but won't disagree with what I'm doing?"
Then it hit me. "Aries and Calvin." I ran out the door.
"Where are you going now?" Mark asked.
"Non of your business." I hissed and ran out the front door. I heard Mark run after me. I ran to the cave, but the portal to hell was closed.
"No!" I gasp and turned around. Mark looked at me. Then I turned back. Mad, Septic, and Pewdied all stared at me.
"We can't let you do this Dark." Mad said.
"How did you figure it out so quick?" I asked him.
"We've been keeping an eye on you. You can't do it." Septic said.
"I'm doing it! Whether you guys agree or not." I hissed. I ran out past Mark. My eyes watering. I knew they were gonna get in my way. They ran after me. I continued running. I was loosing speed and my breathe. I tripped and they had me cornered.
"I'm sorry Dark, but we can't let you. There's only one way we know that you won't do it." Pewdied said.
"What?" I asked. Tears ran down my face. I don't want to hurt them.
"We have to imprison you somewhere." Septic said sadly.
Then I blacked out.

I awoke in a white room. I was on a bed. The room was small and plain. Only a simple bed. I was wearing all white and all my weapons were gone. The door was made of glass. Thick three inch glass. I looked out and saw someone across from me. They were in the same clothes I were. They sat in the corner of the room. They rocked back and forth.
I facepalmed. "You've got to be kidding me. An insane asylum." I said to myself.
"We're sorry Dark. We didn't have anywhere else to put you." Mad said. They were all outside my window. Mark stared at me.
"What's going on?" Mark asked.
"Dark was gonna sacrifice himself to save Midnight." Septic replied.
"Shut up! You don't understand. You guys could never understand! You never experience love like I did. You guys only experienced pain. Your loves were taken from you. I'm not letting another person in my life be taken away. Now let me out! Let me rescue her!" I yelled. I banged on the glass. They all backed away. I fell to my knees and began to cry. Silently to myself. They left me there alone I balled up my fist and began to punch the wall.
When I finally tired myself out I had to sleep. I laid in bed and cried myself to slepp.

I awoke in the room again. The walls were painted a darker red. I looked for her. She appeared in front of me. I hugged her, but she vanished. I looked around. The walls seemed to close in on me.
"You can't save her." A voice whispered to me.
"Its hopeless"
"Give up."
"She's gone."
"Who are you? I'm not giving up on her!" I yelled. Then she appeared in front of me.
"Give up." She said to me.
"No! I'm not giving you up. Midnight would never say for me to give up." I pointed out.
"Its hopeless. Just give up! Leave me alone. Don't bother to come." She sighed and disappeared.
"I know what your doing. I'm not giving up. I'm not gonna let you suffer." I replied. She sighed and walked up to me.
"And I'm not gonna let you suffer. Leave me. I'm fine here." She reassured me
"No your not. Look at you. Your wings are dirty. Your eyes are blood shot, and not to mention. Your sanity is dropping." I argues back.
"And look at you. Your eye rings are darker. Your hair is messy. Your beard is growing. If you can't handle knowing how I'm doing. I don't know how your gonna handle your nightmares." She said. I placed my hand on her cheek.
"I can handle anything for you. I'll do anything for you, and your safety." I said.
"Please. I don't want you too. No one deserves this life. Not even a murderer." She said.
I couldn't help myself. I love her to much. I want to do this for her. I cupped her face and kissed her. Tears went down my face. I could feel her tears drip by our unlocked lips. I could feel her passionate kisses. I kissed her back even more. More emotion. More begging. More passion.
We pulled apart. "Please."
"I'm sorry." She whispered and disappeared.
