"How? Your stuck here." I pointed out. She grabbed me by the collar.
"Never underestimated me." She hissed. I pushed her away.
"I'm doing this for you!" I yelled.
"Well, don't!" She shouted. I grabbed her by the collar.
"Your my slave remember? I don't have to follow your orders." I said. She shoved me into the wall.
"Just go! I don't want this to happen to you!" She yelled.
"I have to do this." I said softly. She disappeared.I woke up. The sun shining in my eyes. The smell of pine surrounded me. I rubbed my eyes and looked down at the book. I sighed.
"Aries and Calvin. I have to get to them." I said to myself.
"Dark don't do it!" I heard a small plea. I looked around. Then I looked inside my pocket. Tiny box Tom was looking up at me.
"I'm sorry Tom. I have to." I said. He was crying. I pat his head and he sniffed. I climded down and held the book and put the knife in my pocket. I looked around.
"The only way to get to hell without Mad's help is to hire a new mage." I sighed. I have heard of one certain one. They say he does great work and he does anything for a good price. I ran towards the city. Avoiding any human that came my way. I was wearing a hoodie, so I put it over my head and kept low. They say he lives in the center of the city. The center of this city was a park. I walked towards the park. Tom remained silent in my pocket. I held the book tightly in my arms. Using my chest to hide the book's symbol.
I finally arrived at the park. I couldn't see anything suspicious. I walked around. Children, mothers, a group of teens. I walked past the group of teens. They looked at me. I ignored them and kept walking. I saw something. Something out of place. A branch. A odd colored tree branch. The tree was dark brown, but the branch was lighter. I walked up to it and pulled on it. A door opened. I walked in and it closed behind me.
There was stairs that led downward. I went down. I felt tom move inside my pocket. I finally reached the bottom. It was like Gilda's place, but way more fancy. A young girl who I recognized was standing there.
"Haven't we met before?" I asked her.
"Yeah, you shoved me. I was at Mark's house." She said. She wore a mage cloak. A knee low blue dress. And long blue boots. Her hair was hidden under a hood.
"I'm Mark's brother. I'm here to see Mr. Brown." I said.
"Do you mean Ms. Brown? Because I don't have a husband." She asked.
"But Mr. Brown is a famous mage." I said.
"No, Ms. Brown is a famous mage. You know, Angela Brown." She said.
"Oh, it a girl. I was told you were a boy. But yeah. Whatever. So I need your help. Can you summon the Night lands portal for me?" I asked.
"Night lands? Oh, your the one who wants to rescue that girl, Midnight. You must be Darkiplier. I thought you were one of the other ipliers. That's gonna cost you." She informed.
"How much money?" I asked.
"Considering you want one of the most risky portals to ever be summoned. I'll say, 10,000 dollars." She said.
"10,000!" I replied. She nodded. "Fine! Deal!" Then a figure appeared. It looks like a transparent form of Evelyn. She looked at me.
"Dark, don't do it." She begged.
"I have to." I replied. She walked up to me and stroked my cheek.
"Your so handsome. I don't want that to be ruined. Just because of me. Please don't." She said. "The Night lands truely change you. The way you see the world. The way you look. The way you act. I don't want you to change. Don't ever change."
"Your so beautiful. I don't want that to get ruined, because of me. I couldn't hold your hands tight enough. And I should be punished for that." I replied. She shook her head.
"I'm sorry. I can't let you." She said. A small flame came from her feet. Soon the fire grew larger and larger. Angela began to panic. I couldn't feel the heat. She could. Evelyn looked at me. "I'm sorry."
We both ran out. I had to help Angela escape. The fire was grew bigger as it ate more and more.
When the fire finally settled down. I went inside. All the books were burned and destroyed. Angela followed me.
"No! No! No! All my books. My home." Angela yelled. I didn't say anything. "I'm sorry Dark. I can't summon the portal. I need those books."
"What!? I thought magic books can't be destroyed!" I yelled
"Only fire can destroy them!" She shouted. My body began to shake.
"No! No! I need to save her. She can't stop me! There has to be another way to save her!" I yelled and ran off. Tears poured from my eyes. I sat on a bench. What am I gonna do? What will I do?
"Dark!" I heard someone familiar. I looked up and Septic stood there. He had a green hoodie on. He wore and eyepatch to hide his septic eye.
I growled. "I'm not be imprisoned again!"
Septic ran and pulled out his phone. I knew who he was calling. I ran off into an alley. I still had my book with me. I looked through of for another way. Another way to save her. There is in fact another way. This remedy has never been used. Only the great Lucifer used it to save his love. You must get the blood of your friends or a single drop of blood from any siblings. Then the sacrifices own blood. You must mix the blood of all three. The victim, the sibling of the sacrifice, and the sacrifice. Once all three drops of blood mix the portal will be opened and the sacrifice will be sucked in. The victim will be removed from the night lands. The sacrifice will remain in the Night lands.
"Another way." I whispers to myself.
