Sara adjusted the final brush strokes on the model's face, the hum of chatter and makeup fumes filling the air. It was a rhythm she was used to by now, smooth and steady. But the reality of her work hit her in waves-- getting lost in the details, in the little flick of eyeliner or the careful dusting of powder. It wasn't glamorous, but it was hers. This was the part she loved.

She glanced at the clock on the wall-- five minutes until the Kpop group arrived, her first job of the day. She sighed, hoping this wouldn't be a repeat of last time. Trying to work with a group of rowdy kpop stars wasn't exactly her idea of a peaceful morning.

Sara stood up as the door opened, the crew member walking in with the group and there he was. The usual scramble followed: equipment bags, noise, and the relentless buzz of their fans outside, trying to get a glimpse of their idols. Dino wasn't hard to spot-- he wasn't very tall compared to the other members, but he looked so confident, with that easy, laid-back charm that seemed to radiate from him even in the midst of chaos.

Sara set her jaw . This was her job, not a moment for star-gazing. She didn't know much about the group, aside from the basics, but it wasn't her scene. She'd learned to keep a professional distance.

'Sara, Dino is ready for his touch up!' She heard her manager say. She called him over and as he sat in the chair, Dino's eyes drifted over to Sara as she worked. She was focused, her fingers moving with a precision that surprised him. Most of the time, the makeup artists he has worked with over the years were too nervous or too distracted, but Sara... she was all business. Maybe that's why she stood out. He wasn't sure, but he found himself watching her work, her brows furrowed as she applied a final touch of concealer.

'You're pretty good at this' he said, his voice casual, not expecting much of a response. Sara barely glanced at him, nodding in respond without saying anything. She didn't even look impressed, just neutral. Dino raised an eyebrow, amused. He hadn't expected her to be so... unbothered by him. But there was something refreshing about it.

Sarah shook her head slightly, focusing on her task. He was nice enough, she supposed--good-looking, famous, and... probably used to people fawning over him. She'd learned to keep her distance from men like him. After all, what are the odds that a guy like Dino would be interested in someone like her? No, it was better not to think too much about it. She had her job, and that was all that mattered.
