There was only one day left of their mini-vacation weekend, so they decided to go to an amusement park. The bus ride to the amusement park was filled with excitement and chatter as the members eagerly planned their day. Sara had never been to a place like this before, and the energy was contagious. She sat between Taylor and Wonwoo, trying to absorb the atmosphere as they rattled off their favorite rides.

"Sara, you're going to love this place!" Taylor said, practically bouncing in her seat. "There's a huge roller coaster with loops that go upside down--perfect for you!" Sara laughed nervously and Wonwoo just chuckled at them. Sara wasn't usually the thrill-seeking type, but something about being with this group makes her want to get out of her comfort zone. "I think I'll survive it."
"Survive? You'll love it!" Taylor insisted, grinning.

Across the aisle--Jeonghan leaned in, his arms crossed over his chest. His protective nature was evident, even when he was joking. "I'll be looking out for you little sis," he teased, giving Sara a playful pat on her head."And if you scream too much, I'm not taking you to the cotton candy stand" added Seungcheol who was seated beside Jeonghan, and continuing the teasing.

Sara rolled her eyes. "Y'all are annoying" she said, her tone was affectionate. "That's the special treatment to our little sis" Seungcheol said and chuckled, and the rest of the band just laughed along with him. Sara felt comfort in this dynamic, she admired them so much. The light teasing felt natural, and she realized how much she appreciates them.

As they walked through the gates of the amusement park, Sara's eyes widened in awe. It was like a world all on its own--bright lights, the smell of popcorn in the air, and the dizzying sound of the rides. There was too much to take in, and she felt a spark of excitement in her chest.

Chan, who had been unusually quiet in the bus, was now walking beside her. He wasn't talking too much, but his presence was calming. Sara couldn't help notice the way his brown hair is curled slightly at the edges, and how his eyes seemed to light up when he looked at his surroundings.

"First ride of the day? She asked, trying to break the silence. Chan glanced at her, a smile forming. "I vote for the ferris wheel." Sara raised an eyebrow. "The ferris wheel? I thought you were  more of a rollercoaster guy." He shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I like the view, besides, I think it's the perfect way to start the day--slow and easy."

She chuckled, feeling a warmth in her chest. It was nice to see a softer side of Chan, especially since things had been a bit awkward between the two. She'd appreciated how openly he had expressed his feelings, and it made her feel more comfortable around him now.

The group made their way to the Ferris Wheel, and Sara felt the nerves settled in when they started to climb into the gondola. Chan sat beside her , and as they began to ascend, Sara looked out over the park, the sprawling landscape of rides and attractions below them. "This is actually really nice." Sara said, her voice full of wonder.  The view from the top was breathtaking " I think I might just love the ferris wheel"

Chan smiled, leaning back and looking at her," told you." He tilted his head " You look good by the way. I like how you did your make up-- it suits you." Sara felt a blush creep up her neck. She hadn't done much differently-- just a little more eyeliner, and a more colorful lip. She didn't expect him to notice. " Oh, um, thanks," she stammered, feeling a flutter in her stomach.
" No problem," Chan said with a shrug, looking out at the park again. His easy-going nature seemed to return as they talked, and Sara found herself relaxing even more.

They shared a few more quiet moments and the gondola gently rocked. When they descended, the rest of the group was waiting for them at the bottom, eagerly shouting about which ride they should do next. Sara found that the quiet moment with Chan had given her a sense of calm and contentment she hadn't anticipated.

After a few more rides--a thrilling rollercoaster that had Sara gripping the side of the seat, and a bumper car showdown, where she had narrowly avoided being rammed by Minghao and Woozi-- the group decided to take a break and grab some snacks. Sara found herself sitting on a bench with Chan, who had an ice cream in hand while she was munching into some cotton candy, letting the sugary sweetness melt in her mouth.

"So, what's next?" Sara asked, glancing around at the others. Seungcheol, of course, was leading the charge. He had already rounded up a few of the members to head towards the water ride. " We're all going to the log flume next!" He called back, giving Sara a thumbs up. "You in?"
"Definitely," Sara said with a grin, standing up to join the others. Chan stayed seated, however, looking at Sara with a raised brow "You're braver than I thought." "I'm full of surprises," Sara said with a playful smile.

"Yeah, you definitely are," he muttered, and for a moment, his eyes softened in a way that made Sara's heart skip a beat. But just as quickly as the moment passed, the rest of the members called out, urging them to hurry, and they ran toward the ride, laughing and jostling with each other. Chan followed close behind, still carrying his ice cream, and Sara felt her heart flutter again--this time, for a different reason.

The rest of the day was filled with more laughter, more rides, and even a few friendly competitions between Sara, Taylor, and the members . They played a game of " Who can eat the most cotton candy?" (Sara won, obviously), and there was even a water balloon fight between her and the members.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with shades of pink and orange, the group gathered  for one last ride-- a giant, spinning tea cup ride that was more about laughs than thrills. Sara found herself seated next to Chan again, her heart lighter than in had been in days. The soft breeze and the gentle spin of the teacup made everything feel carefree.

"Thanks for hanging out with me and for inviting me here" Sara said, her smile genuine. " I really needed this." Chan's grin was easy. " Anytime. You're a pretty cool person to hang out with." Sara felt her cheeks get warm again. "You're not so bad yourself," she teased.  The ride spun around in circles, and they both laughed as they tried to keep their balance. As the ride slowed down and came to a stop, Sara realized how much she had enjoyed spending time with Chan. The tension from before seemed like a distant memory, and the bond between them felt easier now--more natural.

As the group began to head toward the exit, Chan pulled her aside for a moment. "You know," he said, his tone a little more serious but still light, "I'm glad you came on this trip, I've had a good time, mostly thanks to you." Sara looked up at him, surprised by the sincerity in her voice. "Me too," she said softly. Chan gave her a small, warm smile, and for a moment, the world around them seemed to fade. She wasn't sure where this connection was headed, but for now, she was just happy to be here--with him.
