It had been three years now, since Sara and Chan had stood together on that rooftop. Three years since he'd asked her to be his girlfriend, and since then, everything had changed. Seventeen had grown even more famous, their music reaching new heights, but the whirlwind of fame hadn't come without its challenges.

Managing their relationship has been tough at times, especially with the constant pressure of the spotlight and the demands on their time. As much as Chan had always been opened and affectionate, there were moments when they had to figure out how to keep their love intact while juggling the chaos of their respective worlds.

For Sara, being Chan's makeup artist was a dream come true--though it wasn't always easy. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, making sure the guys were camera-ready for interviews, photoshoots, and live performances. She loved her work, but as they became more successful, the managers had started assigning her to do makeup for the other members too. It meant more hours on set and less time spent with Chan, but Sara never minded. She was a part of their world, and that in itself was a kind of magic.

But through it all, she'd never felt more certain of her place in Chan's life. Even when she was running between the members, touching up their makeup or fixing their hair, Chan would find small moments to check in on her--sending her messages during rehearsals, sneaking her a smile from across the stage, or holding her hand as they walked back to their dressing room.

And now, as they neared their anniversary, things felt... perfect. Tonight marked three years of being together, and Sara had no idea what Chan had planned. Every anniversary had been special in their own way-- a quiet dinner, a walk in the park, movie nights--but tonight? This year felt different. She felt the pull of something bigger, something she couldn't quite explain.

The candlelit restaurant was tucked away in a quiet corner, a place known for its breathtaking views of The Seoul Tower. Sara had been there once before with Chan and the members, and tonight, the evening was made all the more special by its intimate atmosphere. She was in a simple but elegant black dress, her makeup soft and radiant--Chan always loved when she let her hair loose, framing her face just the way he liked.

As she looked around the room, she spotted him the corner, his eyes sparkling in the low light, his smile brighter than the whole world combined. Chan had always known how to make her feel like the most important person in the room, and tonight was no exception. There was no crowd, no paparazzi--just them. Just the two of them--sharing a moment that felt like time had stopped.

"Sara" he said, standing up when she walked over to him, his voice full of warmth. He had a soft way of saying her name that still sent shivers down her spine. "You look amazing" he said. She smiled, leaning in to kiss his cheek. "Thank you. You're not so bad yourself."

The night unfolded quietly, the two of them sharing stories and laughter, reminiscing on the years that had passed. Three years of love, laughter, challenges and triumphs. Sara had never expected to find someone who understood her as completely as Chan did, but there they were--stronger than ever.

After dinner, Chan took her back to the rooftop of his apartment --where it all started. He took her by the hand and led her out onto the balcony, where a cool breeze kissed the air. The view of the city's lights twinkling like a thousand stars scattered across the horizon.

Sara couldn't help but take it all in--the beauty of the moment, the peace in Chan's presence. "I can't never get over how beautiful this is." She said softly, leaning against the railing, her hand still resting in his. "Yeah, me neither" Chan replied but his attention was always on her, his voice got quieter now, as if a shift had happened in the air between them.

"You know, when we first came here together, I was nervous." Sara turned to look at him, her brow furrowed, "Nervous, about what?"
He smiled, his eyes reflecting the memories of those early days. "About asking you out. About telling you how I felt. I knew I was falling for you, Sara, but I didn't know if you'd feel the same."

She laughed softly, squeezing his hand. "I think we both know how that turned out."
"Yeah", he said, his smile widening. It turned out better than I ever could've imagined."
The moment stretched between them, a silence full of meaning. Sara felt the air grow heavier, the kind of heaviness that comes before something important.

She looked at Chan, his eyes filled with love something else--something deeper. "Chan," she began, her voice gentle, " What are you--"
Before she could finish, he reached inside his jacket pocket and pulled out a small velvet box . Her heart skipped a beat, and she gasped, her breath catching in her throat.

Chan lowered himself onto one knee, his gaze never leaving hers. "Sara," he said softly, "I've spent the past three years falling more in love with you every single day. You've made me a better person. You've shown me what real love is, and I want to spent the rest of my life making you as happy as you make me."

Sara's eyes filled with tears, her heart swelling in her chest. This was real. This was really happening. "So, Sara," Chan continued, opening the box to reveal a stunning engagement ring, the diamond shimmering under the city lights, "will you marry me?"

Sara's breath hitched. She had always wondered what it would feel like to be asked this question, but now that it was her, it felt like the most natural thing in the world. She nodded, her voice shaky but full of love. "Yes. Yes, of course I will!"

Chan slid the ring onto her finger, and as he stood up, he pulled her into his arms. They kissed--softly, tenderly--against the backdrop of the city that had witnessed the beginning of their love story. The lights of Seoul flickered around them, and for a moment everything else faded away. This was it. This was their next chapter.
