The tour had taken the group out of the country, and everything felt like a whirwind of flashing lights, screaming fans, and endless rehearsals. Sara was keeping busy, as always, touching up the member's makeup before they hit the stage and being the ever-reliable right hand of the team. But her mind was still preoccupied with something--or rather, someone.

It had been a couple of days since the amusement park, and they've been texting eachother sporadically--nothing too heavy, just casual check-ins after the shows. They were both too busy to hang out with the little free time they had. But Sara noticed a change. Chan had started messaging her more often, and when he had a moment after his concerts, they'd FaceTime each other. It was nothing too intimate, just lighthearted conversations about anything and everything. He'd tell her about his backstage antics, and she'd share little stories about what she was up to--mostly work related. But there was a certain level of comfort between them now that Sara had never expected.

It all started with a small mistake on Chan's part. One evening , after a late show in Jakarta, Chan was lounging in his hotel room, that he shared with Woozi. While scrolling through his phone, he was still wound up from the adrenaline of performing, and after checking his usual social media feeds, his mind wandered aroun Sara. He realized, as he checked his personal account, while flipping through his friends and followers, that he doesn't have any of her socials, only her number, so, he looked up her Instagram profile, playing with different usernames because there were almost over 2,000 accounts with the name "Sara" on them. He was still scrolling until he found a username that caught his eye, "sarasara" when he clicked on it, it was a private account with not many followers, but he read her bio immediately knowing it was her.

"They definitely wrote SaraSara about me ( no they did not) stream it pookies~"

He chuckled while reading it and immediately sent a request. The notification popped up quickly, and once he was inside, his fingers instinctively went to scroll. He saw a picture of Sara at a beach, smiling carefree. Then he saw another photo--a much older one, one from her high school years-- where Sara was hugging a guy, it seems it was someone she was very close to. The awkwardness hit him like a brick. The photo was old--really old--but it stopped him.. He kept scrolling, and before he could stop himself, he accidentally liked the photo, not any photo THE photo with the guy. His face turned bright red as he realized what he had done. He dropped the phone onto his bed, his eyes wide in disbelief.

"No, no, NO! Lee Chan! he groaned as he rubbed his face, frustrated. He stared at the ceiling for a moment before quickly jumping to his feet, pacing around his hotel room like a madman. "I can't believe I just did that!" Outside of the bedroom, Woozi Seungkwan and Mingyu where sitting there just chatting while they heard his muttering coming from the bedroom. The bedroom door opened and a exasperate Chan comes out "What's going on?" Seungkwan asked, his tone a mix of concern and amusement. "I just... I just liked Sara's high school photo," Chan said, flailing his arms in frustration. "The one where she's hugging some guy! Oh my God, I'm an idiot,"

The other three exchanged confused looks, and then they all burst out laughing. "Wait, the one where she's hugging some guy? That's the big crisis?" Woozi said. "Yes! It's weird, She's like, 15 there! plus what would she think of me after liking the only photo that had some guy on it? What do I do now?! Chan groaned. Mingyu, still snickering, shook his head. "Dude, it's just a photo, calm down"

" But what if she see's it?" Chan's voice rose in panic. " Chill Chan, she probably won't even notice," Woozi said ruffling Chan's hair, "You're overthinking this". After pacing a few more laps, Chan finally pulled himself together. He grabbed his phone again and opened Instagram to see if Chloe has seen it. Thankfully, it appeared like the notification had disappeared, but just as he was about to breathe a sigh of relief, a new DM popped up from Sara.

It was a message from a different account, it was a verified one--huge following and all. Chan froze. "Hey", the message started, " This is my main account btw, you followed my finsta, I only post random things there but I use this one more, also do you have discord? I have Wonwoo's but if you also have one it would be fun to play games with you too." Chan's heart pounded. "So I freaked out for nothing!?' The message continued: "Send it over pwease 🦖" With a mix of excitement and relief, Chan typed his username and hit send. Within seconds her request appeared on his phone.

The days that followed were filled with endless texts, voice memos, online games, and Face Time calls after each of Seventeen's shows. Everytime the band finished performing, Chan would sneak off to a quiet corner and call Sara. They laughed about trivial things, shared stories, and talked about everything under the sun. Slowly, their bond deepened. At first, it was all lighthearted--just two people enjoying each other's company. But then came the teasing. " Chan you're way too much of a perfectionist when it comes to your hair," Sara teased one evening as they FaceTimed after a concert in Manila. He chuckled. "Hey, my hair is my brand. You can't just mess with it." "is that why ot looks like that?" Sara teased back. Chan's face flushed a little, but he quickly deflected, laughing along with her. "It's not easy okay?'

Taylor who was listening on a separate FaceTime call that she had going with Joshua, chimed in, her voice dripping with playful sarcasm, " Are you hearing that Josh." she asked him while he just chuckled in return."Is that what you two are doing on these calls? Talking about Chan's hair?' Sara and Chan laughed harder, but there was no denying the underlying tension that was building. Sara beginning to realize she looked forward to these calls. She looked forward to hearing Chan's voice, to seeing his smile, to feeling something...Little did she know, what was going to happen next.
