Chapter 36

Arika's pov:

"Aaaaaaaaa" we heard someone's scream.

I opened my eyes wide just to witness avyan was still kisses me. I kicked his leg with my foot and pushed him with force as we separated. I looked aside luv and kush were standing there, I cocked my head to other side not able to look their reaction. I know my lips are swollen.

"Kabab mei haddi" I heard avyan murmuring, side eyeing I looked at them kush was standing by palming his mouth controlling his laugh

"Kya hua?" Avyan barked questioned them

'What is it'

"Kya hua kya nahi wo sab baat ki baat hai, phle ye batao aap ye konse mission pe ho har waqt humlog ko single feel karvane ka" luv said the last line in fake crying, my face was getting red.

'What is it and what not these are belated talk firstly you clarify me are you in some kind of mission to always make us feel single?'

"Humlog nahi sirf tumhe" kush said from behind and I chuckled a little

'you not us'

"Will you tell me the reason you are here for? or we should continue?" Avyan said pointing towards me and him, I his his arms

"We are here to inform you that prize ceremony is gonna start in few minutes, so, come inside" kush said

At the mention of price distribution which mean result declaration, swear started forming on my forehead and palms, again I am getting nervous, fear of losing.

"Okay. We are coming" avyan politely replied, kush nodded as a response and left the place dragging luv along with him.

Avyan turned around and held me by my waist

"Let's countinue where we left" he said and I pushed him a little

"I am sacred avi and you are in fun" I said

"What are you scared of?" He asked lifting up my chin

"Who will win" I said in tension twisting the end of my duppata

"Whoever will win it doesn't matter. You have given your best and for me you are already a winner. Tension not. Chillax" avii said and pecked my forehead he words actually relaxed me a little

'I am already a winner in his sight' I smiled recalling his word

"Now let's go" he said and we walked inside

Author's pov:

Avyan and arika took their respective seat with all the other participants and judges. Arika looked at avyan who passed her a comforting look, she relaxed a bit.

"The most awaited time has arrived, results are in my hand for the great grand dance competition. Are you guys ready? I request our today's chief guest the great businessmen of India who comes in top 10 to come up on the stage Mr. Avyan Raghuvanshi" the anchor announced

Getting up from his seat straightening his blazer avyan walked towards the stage. Audience clapped louder as his stepped on stage, girls were screaming getting crazy on his appearance, his well handsome look.

"Oo my goodness, he is so smart yaar"

"I manifest he becomes my husband"

Two three girls from participates where whispering among them about avyan which did not went unheard by arika. She got furious at their statement.

"You manifestation will not come true, atleast not in this birth" arika said to the girls

"How do you know that? Don't be a jealous ass" one of them replied her in attitude tone

"Because he is married, he is wearing his wedding ring" arika said sternly in little loud voice, the girl laugh at her response saying

"Liar"

"There's no ring on his finger" she said and arika looked at his hand where there was no ring

"Jealous ass" the girl commented on her and left the place leaving arika fum in anger.

The anchor was announcing the name of the winners from group dance. Arika was getting more scary as the the time was leading her to the solo performance result.

"Now it's time to declare the results of solo performance" the anchor said

Arika was standing joining his both hands eyes closed, chanting mantra and praying yo every god. Avyan saw her tension but it made him giggle.

"The third position is suhana singh" the anchor announced, the girl went to stage and avyan gave her the trophy

"The second position is pari ghughutiyal" the anchor annouced and she also received the prize. Arika opened her eyes.

By now arika lost her hope to win because she was expecting atleast second or third position. She turned around to go back with her face pale but the next name anchor took made her froze in track.

"The first position is Miss. Arika Khurana" the anchor announced the sound of clap increased hooting became more loud.

"Miss arika come up on the stage" the anchor called out.

She proudly walked there, avyan lifted the trophy from the side tray and extended towards arika. She held it there eyes locked avyan proudly smiling looking at her, their hands touched when he handed the trophy to her, goosebumps erupted on arika's body by his touch and holding the trophy.

The photographer clicked her photo judges congratulated her addressing her as miss arika. She signalled the anchor to give her the mic, he passed it.

"Hello everyone, first of all thankyou to everyone, thankyou judges. This trophy means a lot to me, it's actually my first achivement which I got in this platform. It means a lot, but I not here to tell you people about my success journey. I just wanted you people to enlighten that it's not 'miss arika Khurana' It's 'Mrs. Arika Avyan Raghuvanshi' arika said firstly looking at avyan then eyeing the girls who was not standing in shock like they have seen sun came up on night time.

"Wohooo!! Congratulations Mrs. Arika" the anchor said after that everyone descended from the stage.

Avyan was walking behind arika where ever she goes, he was feeling overwhelmed about how she revealed in front of everyone

"Congratulations Mrs. arika Avyan Raghuvanshi" he whispered her by pulling her wrist towards him.

Arika controlled herself from not replying anything, and freeing herself from his grip. She left without responding or looking at him.
