Chapter 44

Arika's pov:

We all took our seats in our car. I, avi, luv-kush is in one car. Yashveer, aryan and Divya is in another car and red of the family member are in different cars. My hands are still trembling, when I heard avii's voice instantly I tucked the photo inside the comforter properly.

I should'nt open the diary at that moment but I couldn't resist it's been a long time I haven't seen her, there's no sign of her in this house, but how can it be possible she is....., my thoughts got disrupted by avi's voice

"Rose......I am asking something" I heard

"Huhh! What?" I asked

"See the outside view" he said and I looked out,

It was a beautiful view, a village kind of "It's beautiful" I said smiling

"How much time left for us to reach?" I asked trying to distract my mind

"Umm...not much more 15 to 20 minutes way" he said,

After that we all talked on random topics, I also got myself in the conversation to get my mind off in which I succeed, my mood got lifted up, until we reach the temple.

After approx 30 minutes of drive avii parked the car and we all stepped outside, the temple is a huge one looking like an ancient time, I had to lift my head up to see it's length. On the top there's a red flag.But the place is very crowded, lots of people are here

"Bahu, this temple is made my avyan's grandfather's grandfather. After this temple made, every newly wed couple come here to take blessings of goddess Parvati and shiv, they say the one who have their blessings their relationship stays forever" dadi said and I smiled

Then I understood, that is why it is so crowded. I and avyan will also stay forever, I smiled at the thought, looking at avyan.

"Come bahu" dadi said and we walked inside,

we opened our footwear outside the temple and ascended the stairs. As we stepped inside the place was more crowded than outside, people were pushing each other, there's no VIP entry because there's only one way to enter and this has been build at very early period.

The place was so suffocating I started sweating. I held avi's hand in case I get lost, who knows.

Author's pov:

Arika held avi's hand, avi felt her palm wet, he looked at her face, noticed her restless face he took out his phone and message kush saying 'get a hand fan from outside' he tapped send message and looked at kush who was staring him confused avyan glared him and he went outside to get it.

Till the kush comes back they have moved forward about to reach the doorstep of the main gate where goddess idol was placed.

Kush came to him panting, handed him the fan, kush looked at avyan in frustration, but he ignored it, kush turned back to go

"A new bike to you this birthday. Your favourite one, which you wanted" avyan said, kush looked at him amused

"Aap best ho" kush said giving him a flying kiss which he ignored too

Getting fan avyan started giving air to arika with hand fan, she looked at avyan

"Kya kar rahe ho? Puja karo bhagwan pe dhyan do!" She said to him

'What are you doing? Focus on God worship them'

"Wahi toh kar rha hun, apni bhagwan pe dhyan de raha hun, unki sewa kar rha hun" avyan replied wiping sweat from her forehead with his handkerchief

'Doing that only, worshipping my god, assisting her'

"Oohoo!! Bhaii!" Divya teased them

"Humare liye toh kabhi aisa nahi kiya" luv said pouting

'You never do such things for us'

"Tu biwi hai meri" avyan replied nonchalantly

'Are you my wife'

They were moving forward with steady steps because of the crowd, but avyan was continuously wiping arika's sweat, giving her air with hand fan despite the denial of arika. After few minutes they reached at the entrance.

"Ab toh rakh do!" Arika said

'Atleast keep it now'

"Kyu? Mujhe koi problem nahi hai" avyan said innocently, arika glared him

'Why? I don't have any problem'

"Rakho!" She said strictly, he kept it aside they took seat in front of the idol, pandit ji seating beside.

Siya handed the plate of puja to pandit ji, he chanted the mantras and sprinkled some waters on them with banana leaf.

"Ye mata ka sindoor apni patni ke maang pe bhar dijiye" pandit ji said passing the vermillion box to avyan

'This goddess vermillion fill on your wife partition'

"Laga dun ardhangini ji?" He asked grinning

'Can I apply wifey?'

"Ye bhi koi puchne wali baat hai" arika replied moving her head forward towards avyan,

'Is this a matter to ask'

he smiled and put the vermillion on her hairline, arika closed her eyes, she squeezed her eyes, smiling when some vermillion fell on her nose,

And youngester from behind saying "Aur pyar badhega, oohoo!!"

Both looking at each other, with loveable eyes, wedding night flashing infront of them, every moment, their first met, their wedding, their special moments. Arika's eyes glistening with happy tears.

"I love you" she whispered

"I love you too, ardhangini jii" he responded, planting a kiss on her forehead a tear fell from arika's eyes

"Take blessing from matarani" pandit ji said, they bowed their head down near the idol and stood up to go

"Ye lijiye prasad" pandit ji said and handed the puja plate to arika.

Everyone else bowed and took blessings after that turned around to go. As they gone and other family entered, pandit ji noticed the coconut left which was there

'They left their worshipped coconut, let it be I'll offer this to matarani from their side' with this thought, he cracked the coconut but got shocked when he found all black stain inside.He disposed the coconut and countinued with his work.

On this side, Raghuvanshi family was joking laughing, enjoying their time and left for their house happily, unaware of the hurdle coming their way.
