Chapter 42

Arika's pov:

Feeling a weight on my stomach I opened my eyes and looked to my left, avii was sleeping keeping his arms around my stomach. A smile crept on my lips, I told him not to come here but this man.

I planted a kiss on his cheeks and removing his hand, I went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Author's pov:

Arika emerged from the bathroom made her steps towards the vanity, she opened her hair which was wrapped with a towel and shaked her head, her hair blowing and water droplets falling not on the floor but in avyan's face.

Avyan scrunched his nose and squeezed his eyes in sleep, he opened his eyes when he felt more droplets on his eyes. Arika was dryed her hair with towel then she applied moisturizer, kajal, lipstick, a small bindi and she was ready by now.

Arika is wearing a purple colour anarkali suit with embroidered duppata. All the time she was getting ready avyan was staring her, she turned herself to go, but before she took a last glance on mirror and notices the missing of very important thing, she picked up the vermillion box taking a pinch from it, she filled her hairline with a smile.

Arika's pov:

I noticed avii is up when I was applying vermillion he is just pretending to be asleep.

"Avi I know you are up?!" I said turning around leaning on vanity, he opened his one eye.

"Get up!" I ordered, he opened his both eyes stretching his body.

"With whose permission you are sleeping on bed? Didn't I asked you to sleep on couch?" I asked in serious tone but internally I was happy he was beside me last night.

He pulled my hand, wrapped his arms around my waist and nuzzled his face on my stomach.

"Jaan, I can't sleep without you" he said

"Sorry! But I will sleep there only wherever you sleep" he said and I caressed his hair

"Fine. I was just kidding" I said and pecked his forehead, he looked up

"Does that mean you are ready for that again....." He said in teasing tone

"Avii No!!! I have work to do" I said pushing him to leave me but rather he pulled me more my face near his, he leaned closer to my ear

"Aao na tumhe chattis tarikon se jannat dikhata hun" he whispered making my eyes wide

"Huhh!! Kitne besharam ho tum" I said like how can he say such things

"Apne hi banaya hai" he replied

"Achaa...toh mei hi sudhar deti hun abse ye sab band" I said

"Haww!! Toh fir dadi ka ashirwad kaise pura karenge" he said

"Aviii" I said and we both started laughing

Author's pov:

It was evening and from morning arika was running here and there busy in preparation for diwali

"Wo flower wahi stairs ke pas lagaye" arika said to a worker

"Ma'am ye lights kaha lagaun?" One of the worked asked her

"Ye entrance ke pas" she said and countinued working on her rangoli

"Beta arika" siya came from behind and sat beside her

"Jii maa" arika said

"Itna sundar ye Ghar kabhi nahi laga" siya said

"This diwali you have decorated the house according to you, took care of each and everything even it's just a small thing. Every year we just gave orders to the workers and they decorate according to themselves, mains bohot punye kiye honge jo tumhari jaisi bahu mili hai. Thanyouu! Not for decorating and taking care of the house but for coming to our lives, beta" siya praised her emotionally

"Maa, mera ghar hai toh sajaungi bhi mai hi na, aur khushnaseeb to main hun jo aaplog jaise sasural Mila hai" arika said and siya smiled touching her cheeks

"God bless you. Hamesha khush raho" siya said, both engrossed in talking, giggling, making rangoli, enjoying their moment.

Avyan was looking everything he heard their conversation also, he took out his phone and clicked a picture of them, when both the ladies were laughing at something siya said.

Arika's pov:

"Kaisi lagri hun?" I asked avyan, today I am wearing a legend maa gave me and jwellery given by maa.

I was all ready, In today's Puja I and avyan are sitting.

"Main kya bolu mujhe toh saans hi nahi aari hai" avii replied looking me from head to toe.

His compliments are always like this I shut my eyes smiling shyly looking down.

"Haayee! Mai toh mar gya" avyan said putting his hand on his chest making me more red.

"Pagal ho tum!!" I said with a chuckle

"Aapne hi banaya hai apne pyar mei" he replied

"Seriously avii!!" I said and went downstairs still red before the situation goes on some other tracks. (Ifykyk😉)

After sometime avi came wearing a kurta, deadly handsome. He was looking so beautiful his chest was slightly revealed, my gaze drawned there, throat getting dry. He walked towards me every organs inside me stopped working. I couldn't hear, speak, breathe. I was directly staring him more like drooling him without even blinking.

"Bhabhii" I came to reality blinking several times, when I someone shaking me.

"Are you okay? You are sweating" Divya asked in concern, now how should I tell her it's because of her brother's hotness.

"Yeahh! I am good!" I replied looking no one in particular.

I lifted my gaze and again looked at avii, who smirked looking at me as if he red my every thoughts.

I rolled my eyes and we all went for Puja.

Author's pov:

Puja was completed peacefully, every youngster were busy in burning crackers.

"Avii idhar aao" arika called avyan, but he denied so, she walked towards him and dragged him with her.

"Chalo ye fodte hai" arika said showing a cracker bomb to him

"Aur fir ye bhi fodenge" she said showing another box of cracker.

"Aur fir ye bhi" she said showing another box

"Han, aur ek kaam karo mujhe bhi fod do, ya fir iss rocket pe baitha ke mujhe uda do" avyan said showing a rocket cracker.

"Kya bachon ki tarah phatake fodne ki lagi hai, isse acha upper chalo na" he said and the last line only for her to hear

"Kitne boring ho yr, hato tum" she said pushing him little

"Luv, kush, aryan" she called them

"Chalo ye sab fodte hai" arika said excitedly showing the cracker

"Nahiiii!!" Avyan literally shouted making her studdle because she was standing just beside her

"I mean meri biwi hai, mei hi iske sath phataka fodunga chalo Jaan!!" Avyan said and youngster started laughing at his antics, and arika staring him.

Everyone was having fun burning crackers, laughing, enjoying, making memories.

"Bacho andar aao, dadi is calling everyone!!"
