Chapter 21: The Brawlers vs The Vexos part 2

The battle raged on high in the skies as Bright, Dan, and Shun rode on the shoulders of their respective Bakugan, Leonidas, Neo Dragonoid, and Skyress. They soared above the chaos on the ground, watching their allies fight the Vexos below.

Lync: "Ability Activate!"

Lync's voice echoed from above as he gave the command to Aluze. The mechanical Bakugan’s underbelly suddenly opened, revealing several large cannons, and its wings flared out, charging with an ominous green energy.

Lync: "Sting Boomerang!"

With a mechanical roar, Aluze launched a barrage of green, pulsating projectiles, their deadly hum filling the air. The green spheres spiraled toward the Brawlers with precise aim, closing in fast.

Shun: "Skyress, Wind Destruction Meteor Storm!"

Skyress, her wings beating furiously, conjured a violent cyclone around her. The winds grew fierce, and with a shrill cry, she unleashed a deadly storm of razor-sharp wind blades. The blades sliced through the air, deflecting the incoming projectiles and scattering them before they could reach the Brawlers.

Dan: "Drago, Burning Dragon!"

Dan raised his arm, the familiar surge of energy racing through his body as he called upon his Bakugan’s signature attack. Neo Dragonoid's wings expanded, glowing with intense red-orange flames that engulfed his body. He opened his mouth and shot forward, sending a fiery stream of dragon fire at Aluze, the inferno cutting through the air with scorching heat.

Bright: "Leonidas, Omega Eraser!"

Leonidas, his red and gold scales gleaming in the sunlight, roared as he gathered power in his chest. His mouth opened wide, unleashing a devastating blast of white lightning, a concentrated beam of pure energy that surged toward Aluze, crackling with power and intent. The force of the blast hit the green projectiles head-on, disintegrating them as the lightning continued to streak through the air, aimed directly at Aluze.

As the Brawlers’ combined attacks shot past Aluze, the mechanical Bakugan’s wings glowed brightly, and a force field flickered to life around him, barely absorbing the hits. Still, the impact left Aluze reeling, but it quickly steadied itself, ready for the next exchange.

Shun: "We can’t let up! Keep the pressure on!"

Shun’s voice was sharp, determination fueling his every word as he and Skyress continued their relentless assault from above, ready for whatever Lync and Aluze would throw at them next.

The air around the Brawlers’ Bakugan shifted dramatically, and suddenly, the trio—Drago, Skyress, and Leonidas—began to plummet from the sky, their human partners struggling to maintain their balance as the ground below rushed toward them.

Dan: "What’s happening?! We're falling!"

Before the Brawlers could react, Aluze let out a thunderous roar, its cannons opening up as it launched a fresh barrage of green projectiles toward the plummeting Bakugan and their partners.

Bright: "Not so fast! Back Fire!"

With a swift motion, Bright inserted an ability card into Leonidas’ gauntlet. Instantly, Leonidas was engulfed in brilliant red flames, the fiery energy enveloping both himself and the falling Brawlers’ Bakugan. The flames broke through the gravitational pull of Lync's ability, freeing the Bakugan from the downward pressure, allowing them to regain control in midair.
