Hannah's POV:
It was about 7:00 in the morning and no one was up apart from me. I made sure Cameron was asleep as I creeped out of the the guest room and went down the stairs.
I tried my hardest to avoid the creeks and loose floor boards that would wake the boys up. It was only Cam, Hayes and Nash that are here.
I walked outside and down the familiar and weirdly comforting path to the small gazebo thing. This was like my place that I go to when I'm scared or upset.
I stood at the edge of the gazebo and rested my hands on the cold metal bar, looking out at the wash of yellows, oranges and purples that made up the sunrise.
I stared in awe at the beautiful view that made me feel calm and content.
I closed my eyes and listened to the birds singing their morning songs and the water gently hitting against the small rocks in the river.
It was peaceful.
"Beautiful isn't it" I heard a voice say. But this time the voice wasn't inside my head. It was real.
I turned around to see Nash stood in his grey sweatpants and an old white top. His hair was floppy and his eyes were adjusting to the light probably because he just woke up.
"Yes it is" I replied turning back around and facing the sunrise. Nash came and stood next to me and put his hands on the bar also.
I could see him looking at me from the corner of me eye.
"What?" I questioned still looking out at the view and avoiding eye contact. There was a long pause before he spoke.
"Are you-"
"What does it look like" I snapped as I new he was going to ask me if I was okay.
"Sorry" I apologised for snapping at him. He just looked at me with an understanding look.
"I know your not okay. But, I just want you to know that I'm here for you" he said. This time I looked directly into his baby blue eyes and flashed him a small smile.
He moved closer to me and wrapped his arms safely around my waist. I snaked my arms around his neck and rested my head on his shoulder.
I love that me and Nash can do this alone and it not be weird. If Cam saw us now he wouldn't be shouting at Nash for getting to close with me like he would anyone else (obviously apart from Hayes). And Hayes wouldn't be shouting at Nash for hugging me because obviously I'm his girlfriend. (That made no sense😑)
Nash is basically my second brother. He always has been and always will be.
He squeezed me a little tighter and heard him sniffling. I then felt something cold and wet on my back like a tear or rain or something.
I lifted my head off of Nash's shoulder but still had my arms around his neck as he still had his around my waist.
I looked into his eyes and realised he was crying.
"Nash. What's wrong?" I questioned wiping a tear from his cheek.
"I-I'm just so worried about you" he replied looking at out feet.
"I'll be fine" I said as I rested my forehead against his and closed my eyes.
"As long as I have you, Cam and Hayes. I'll be just fine" I whispered.
We spent the next three or so hours sat on the small couch in the gazebo just talking and laughing at old memories.
I heard something behind me so I looked round to see Hayes walking towards us with two cups in his hand and Cam trailing behind with two in his.
Hayes stepped into the gazebo and gave one of the cups to Nash. He then handed me one and kissed me on the top of my head.
We never kiss on the lips in front of Cam and Nash because they usually throw something at us and tell us to get a room.
Cam stepped in and smiled at me handing a cup to Hayes. Hayes sat next to me and Cam sat next to Nash.
I sipped my tea and rested my head on Hayes's shoulder as we all sat in a peaceful, non awkward silence just looking at the view.
The sun was now fully in the sky as it lit up the city. You could see for miles and miles all of the housed and buildings.
"Imagine what those people are doing right now in those buildings. Like in that big yellow building there, someone might be, I don't now, in a job interview or something" Cam said out of the blue.
"Yeah. Or in that building there, someone might be.....painting their walls" Nash said laughing.
"Someone might be dancing in that one" hayes said with a small chuckle.
"There might be someone having sex in that one" Cam said as we all started laughing.
"There all down their just....living" Nash said. I stopped laughing immediately.
"Or dying" I said as everyone stopped laughing.
"At least one person down their is dying. Mentally. Or physically. Maybe being abused. About to commit suicide. Being murdered. Dying of cancer or another disease. And we're just sat here. Drinking our tea and having a laugh together. Completely oblivious. Just going on with our lives as normal, whilst others are fighting for theirs" I said.
Everyone just went silent as they didn't know what to say. We were all just thinking about everything I just said.
"Wow" Cam whispered as Nash and Hayes said the same thing.
"That really puts things into perspective" Nash said.
We all just put out cups of tea down not really wanting to drink them anymore.
A/N I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO END THIS CHAPTER😬 SO IM JUST GOING TO LEAVE IT AS THAT. Sorry it's a bit crappy.
